Tae is seriously the BEST! We always request him when we come to Shell Shack because he’s so friendly, quick, efficient, and always gets everything right. He genuinely goes above and beyond every time. Today he was literally holding the whole fort down—bartending AND serving—and still managed to give amazing service. He deserves all the recognition! 🦀❤️

Really enjoyed my visit to Shell Shack. The food was fresh and flavorful, with a great variety of seafood and other options to choose from. The staff were friendly and made the experience even better, and I thought the prices were very reasonable for the location and quality. It’s a fun spot with a relaxed atmosphere, and I’d definitely come back when I’m craving seafood.

Great food, drinks and service! Came in and sat at the bar, Rheagan - the bartender, was super friendly and helpful when going through the menu for the food. The tasty drinks were just the bonus. Great environment and people, will definitely be back!

Incredible service, Key was super attentive and the food?? Wow. Genuinely never had food this good before. We are from the West - and I’m so glad I settled on this restaurant. Incredible work from staff and cooks.

My honest review as a Houstonian ~ this place was just okay. My boyfriend and I ordered the seafood boil with shrimp, crawfish, baby octopus, sausage, corn, and potatoes in the Cajun + Garlic Parmesan flavor. I probably wouldn’t return for a few reasons:
Pros: Great sized shrimp, baby octopus, and potatoes. They give you disposable gloves and melted butter on the side. The service from our server (Tre) as well as the atmosphere was cool and laid back.
Cons: There was no flavoring in the sauce… it tasted like straight salt. The crawfish was TINY! You can see in the pics & keep in mind, that I have baby hands lol. We had only a few decently sized pieces. Everything was also very highly priced for what you get, especially the crawfish. We paid $70 without the tip included… I think it was worth around $50, at most.
Overall I would rate this restaurant a 2.5/5… that seafood boil would be shamed in Houston for the flavoring alone.
