This place is a SCAM!!! My family had an issue with the refrigerator and called this place. Two technicians came over looked at our freezer and said they need $65 for the inspections and $300 if they want the issue to be “fixed”. Since we needed the fridge fixed quickly we agreed to pay the money. They turned the power off and washed our freezer. Then they explained that the issue is resolved and with that we have a 1 month warranty that if the issue happens again they would came back and fix it and if the issue happens again after 3-4 months they we would have to get a expensive part or buy new refrigerator.

Couple of days later the issue with the fridge happened again. Since it was during holiday weekend we decided to hold off on calling until weekday. I call and explain the issue again, the customer service person says the will open up our file and puts me on hold. 15 mins later they comes back and opens the file and says that the technicians reported we need new parts costing over $1000. I talk about the 1 month warranty and how they said if the issue comes back in 3-4 months then we would need new parts but the customer services says that the 1 month warranty is for the work they did which didn’t fix anything but now we need to pay $1000 if we want the technicians to come again and actually fix the issue.

So over all $65 for inspection where they won’t tell you the issue until you pay, $300 for “issue solution” plus a warranty that means nothing. And if we really want the fridge to be fixed then $1000 parts are needed.

Came to fix my fridge/freezer last November because it was no longer getting cold - turns out the main defrost system was just clogged and it just needed to be steamed out/cleared. Cost $337 which seemed a bit steep but they came to service the fridge quickly which was nice. As they were leaving they saw that my Gaggenau stove knob was broken and said they could come back in to fix that. I called later and they said they had to send in another technician to diagnose. They said they had to take out the entire thing. This “diagnosis” cost $145. They quoted be $321 for ordering the part and $495 for labor. I asked for an itemization on labor since the labor cost seemed steep, but he couldn’t fully explain what work needed to be done except for turning off the gas and getting behind the stove cover. What really concerned me was he admitted he had no experience with Gaggenau stoves but wasn’t sure how long it would take, so that’s why he had to charge higher. His tone and demeanor felt quite rude, and simply said I had 7 days to agree.

Then upon researching online I found I can order the part replacement myself for 15% less and that the knob replacement doesn’t seem overly difficult (it basically was just bumped off and broken, so I’m not sure why he was insisting the entire system to be taken out.) Upon reflection won’t be moving forward with this service - it does seem like they gouge you on prices. I found I can just call Gaggenau directly to send a repair technician in - their prices sound much more reasonable, and at least I know whoever is coming in would know how to work with these stoves. From my experience I would not recommend…

Prompt and professional service. Service call was scheduled promptly. Service technician, Viktor sent a text alert that he would arrive shortly. He was polite, professional and careful with my appliance and explained everything as he proceeded to diagnose problem. Within 24 hours I received a call back - informing me as how best to proceed with my dishwasher. Highly recommend Express Repair. Viktor is really knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with!
