I cannot say enough great things about this incredible team! I brought in my Meta AI glasses to have my prescription lenses swapped out — not exactly a routine job, and they handled everything with such professionalism and care.

During the process, my frame suffered a minor scratch. I had already signed a waiver acknowledging that risk. But without hesitation, they replaced the frame entirely, completely free of charge. I was quite surprised. In an era where customer service often feels like a transaction, this kind of generosity and accountability is almost unheard of.

This team didn't have to do that. They were fully covered. They did it anyway, because they genuinely care about their patients and stand behind their work. That speaks volumes about their character and the culture they've built.

My wife and I have been coming to Ashburn Vision Source for a free years and, each time, had an excellent experience!

Dr. Boyles is exceptionally professional and caring. She is always professional and caring. At each of our appointments, Dr. Boyles has always been very patient takes as much additional time as necessary to.

When it came time to pick out new glasses & have some adjustments made to one of my previous pair of glasses, we were assisted by Javon - who is the best and most helpful / knowledgeable individual my wife and I have had the pleasure of working with.

Hands down, this most recent experience was amazing overall. Ashburn Vision Source US always growing ands seeking process improvements for better customer interaction. My first time here and Dr Doyle was so wonderful at answering all my questions and quick. Also Jevon was beyond helpful at helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. I always have such a hard time finding a good pair in the brands I like and he picked the one perfect one! He also took full advantage of my insurance. So personable, such a nice office, I had the best experience and could not recommend it enough.

I never leave reviews, and have been coming to this location for years. Unfortunately I’ve had the worst doctors office experience I’ve ever had at this location. I had an appointment in January for a routine checkup on my eyes, and to reorder more contacts like I had done every year for the last decade. I had just moved to West VA, and my husband and I contemplated going somewhere closer to us but I said let’s stay at Ashburn vision source as I’d always had great experiences. My appointment was amazing with the eye doctor; it was the front end staff that ruined my experience. I had ordered contacts, and waited a month for them to come in. Never came in. I called them, and it was like playing phone tag back and forth to get an answer where my contacts were. I was told the company they source their contacts through lost them in transit. Okay fair, things happen I was understanding. They overnighted them to me and they came in 2 days later. When they came in I didn’t even check the box to ensure they were my prescription. I put them in and immediately felt sick, but I was putting them in at 4:30 am for work and assumed I was just tired. I drove to work and felt like I couldn’t see the whole way there. I took the contacts out at work, and put my glasses back on. I go home, check the box, it’s the wrong prescription by a whole point. So I call Ashburn vision source saying I got the wrong prescription. I had to drive a hour back to the eye doctor to drop off the box of the wrong contacts; with no refund or any type of compensation for my time wasted and still not getting the service I paid for- contacts. The front office said they would reorder contacts for me. So I waited 2 weeks again for contacts. I called on a Saturday asking for a update, and they said the manager who is in charge of ordering contacts wasn’t in. Fair; again understanding because things happen. I was told they would call me back. They never did. So I called again on Monday asking for an update; again no answer and they said they’d call me back in an hour. 3/4 hours later they call me back saying they would be in the next day.

Moral of the story: I paid for contacts and didn’t get them until I begged, and asked for them so nicely over the phone and in person. I was never offered a partial refund or additional contacts as a result of me not getting the services I paid for. When I finally got my contacts in this week ( 2 1/2 months after my original order date) they had a lovely expedited sticker on them; proving my theory that the office never ordered my contacts TWICE until I asked them to do so as the order date on the paper was for 3/16.

The doctors here are so nice which is such a shame, because I shouldn’t have had to wait almost 3 months for contacts I paid for, have to go back and forth with the front end staff about their mistakes without giving me much of a apology or compensation for my time. I would recommend this place for a simple appointment, but order your contacts or glasses somewhere else because they clearly do not care if you can see or not on a day to day basis.

Been going for years. Always great service. Basma and Donna are such gems! AVS is lucky to have them on staff. My glasses are gorgeous. Five stars. Will be baaaaaaack!
