Went here last Saturday with a few friends and honestly could not have asked for a better night out. The ribeye was cooked to an absolute perfect medium-rare, and the peppercorn sauce had us all reaching across the table for extra bread to soak it up. Our server Antoine was attentive without being overbearing, kept our wine topped up and even gave us a great recommendation for dessert. If you are looking for a proper steakhouse experience in Saint-Jacques, Chantal's is the real deal.

Wow wow wow…this place is honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! The atmosphere, the service, the attentiveness, and the food…10/10 *****
Our server was great and Chantal came to talk to us at our table a few times while we were there. Everyone was so nice and welcoming! It was my first experience but definitely not my last! I joked with Chantal that her and I should open a “Chantal’s Steakhouse” in Dieppe! She said “Allons y” let’s do it!

Serendipity. Life is about pleasant surprises. Wife and I were just looking for a nice place to stop for dinner on our way from Ottawa to see the Cabot Trail. We decided to stop at Chantal's Steakhouse and were so happy we did. Amazing food. My wife claims it was the best Filet Mignon she's had in her life. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. Ample sides of fresh vegetables. We were served an amuse bouche of a delicious cream of mushroom soup. Our server Natalie was beyond excellent with her attentiveness and perfect timing. The owner Chantal came over and took time to sit down and chat with us about her remarkable life story of tragedy and perseverance. Maple creme brule and homemade sugar pie is a must to finish off our perfect meal. This is a must stop in my book and deserves 6 stars!

We first went to Chantal’s Passing through last year. This year we were passing through again and we called ahead to make sure we can get in as close to closing time. We were at at least an hour after it was supposed to be closed in Chantal Welcomed us. The food was absolutely incredible. The overall experience in the ambiance was amazing. We are sure that the servers stay late for commented us and she was absolutely wonderful. This could give us six stars would have. Highly recommend recommended.

What a great meal and after a delayed arrival the owner squeezed us in! It was Mother's day to make it more challenging. Our server Pierre was awesome and the food so yummy!!! Best French Onion soup!, sorry Mom and Grandma!! Our first time having sugar pie. It was light and delicious!
Our friends recommend Chantel's they were so right. Thank you! Madenus feel family!!
