One of the best locally owned music stores I’ve visited. Amazing selection of unique instruments, wonderful owner, and the layout is a dream. Spent a good hour or so looking at and playing various wonderful high-end instruments, talking shop with another musician who was there, and chatted with the owner for a good bit. This place is worth a visit even, and maybe especially, if it’s your only reason to come to Reno! I’ll be back, and know I’ll leave with a unique quality instrument and even better memories. Support local music shops!!! And this one especially so.

Went to their website, waste of time, much like every other music store in Northern Nevada. Seems nobody here has ever been to a standard music store, like a century behind common business practices. Not surprising this area has nothing, as the residents just simply don't know any better.

Small business that's better then the big stores. They had a dog (which I loved) and the whole store was filled with unique decorations and instruments. I ended up getting a violin from them, it was great quality for what I paid for. I added a photo of the violin, and they were able to give this to me WITH CASE for only $400. The big stores like absolute music were charging $800 for a used violin without a case, so its absolutely worth it to come here. Not only that, the people running the store were very nice, offering us lemonade while we were talking and so much more.
Cannot express this enough, come here if your looking for really any instrument. Even if they don't have it, you wont regret coming here.

This is the greatest place in the West for music! There aren't many brick and mortar establishments left and we are very fortunate to have this one. Music of all types, very friendly folks and a whole lot of fun. Pretty much whatever your musical taste, you can sit down and join in, learn and enjoy.
