Very nice experience. The steak was very good. Prices reasonable. We visited during the world cup final weekend and Saltbae was there, he came and cut our steak at our table. Very cool guy, he was very friendly and took pictures with everyone.

I had a wonderful lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the $59 Wagyu lunch set. I chose the Wagyu Meat Sushi, the 7oz Wagyu Filet Mignon, and the San SebastiĆ”n Cheesecake following Claudioās recommendation. Every course was beautifully executed and absolutely delicious. The tasteful music also added to the enjoyable atmosphere.
What made the experience truly memorable, however, was the exceptional service from Claudio. His warm hospitality and genuine attentiveness stood out throughout the meal. He regularly checked in to ensure everything was perfect and made me feel so welcome, even as a solo diner.
Thank you, Claudio, for your outstanding hospitality. I look forward to returning the next time Iām in New York!

The 3 course lunch special a great choice!
We ordered steak tartare it was excellent!! Exactly the way who I love!
Meat sushi not my favorite but interesting.
Nurs-et salad a really delicious one,
with walnuts and pomegranate dressing.
Main meal NY strip steak, filet mignon and salmon all very well made!
Those mushrooms and mashed potatoes perfect side dish with any steaks.
Then the dessert, it was my first time to eat Turkish ice cream awesome! San SebastiƔn cheesecake also something I love more than any regular cheesecake, light and creamy.
Turkish pistachio baklava with ice cream a filling dessert. We had great experience, everyone very welcoming.
Nice atmosphere with music not loud it was easy to have conversations with my family.

Itās a solid choice if youāre not the one paying the bill!
The menu is consolidated, which is helpful. Meat sushi and burgers are great quality, and just outside of reasonably priced.
The service is uncomfortably forced, likely to justify the cost. The waiters feel like theyāre reading off of a script and training happened just last week, none of it natural or intuitively service oriented.
And, wouldnāt deem the patrons a particularly hip crowd, though that could due to location in the city.

We tried the 3-course lunch special at Nusr-Et (appetizer, main, dessert), and overall the experience was mixedāsome standout dishes, but several gaps that didnāt match the hype or price point.
For appetizers, we ordered the meat sushi and the arugula avocado salad. Both were strong. The salad was easily a 9/10āfresh, well-balanced, and flavorful. The meat sushi was also a 9/10: tender, well-executed, and flavorful, but just missing that final punch (a sauce or finishing element) to take it to a 10.
For mains, we had the New York steak and the prime burger. The steak was cooked perfectly with a nice smokiness, but the flavor itself was underwhelmingāabout a 6/10. It lacked depth and seasoning, and notably didnāt come with any accompanying sauce (like a zip-style sauce), which could have elevated it. At this price point, you expect more than just proper executionāyou expect standout flavor. The burger was similarly basicānothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either.
Dessert was another split. The cheesecake was excellentārich, balanced, and satisfying. The Turkish ice cream, however, was surprisingly bland and lacked the distinctive flavor youād expect.
Service was a weak point. It took about 30 minutes for someone to return and take our order, and roughly 40 minutes after ordering for the food to arrive. Other tables who were seated after us were served first. Throughout the meal, we had to flag staff down repeatedlyāfor water, for assistance, and even for the bill. There was no proactive check-in, which is unexpected for a restaurant positioned at this level.
On the positive side, the ambiance is strongāstylish, energetic, and well-maintained. The bathrooms were clean, and the overall vibe is definitely part of the appeal.
Bottom line: Some dishes were genuinely impressive, but the mains and service didnāt justify the reputation or pricing. It feels overhyped compared to other steakhouses that deliver both flavor and service at a higher level.
