She specializes in cardio-obstetrics, women’s cardiovascular health, and preventive cardiology, bringing a patient-centered approach to complex cardiac care. Dr. Shah earned her medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center. She is actively involved in research and has published extensively on topics including cardiovascular complications in pregnancy, diabetes-related heart disease, and emerging therapies for pulmonary hypertension. Her leadership experience includes co-founding the Community Healthcare Advocacy Team for Individuals with Disabilities and securing a national research grant to improve medical education for underserved populations. Dr. Shah is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and the Heart Failure Society of America. Outside of medicine, Dr. Shah enjoys hiking, traveling, and sharing her passion for dance as a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She also loves experimenting with global flavors to create fusion recipes.
