We were travelling from Ontario to BC and our alternator died in Kenora. It was the Friday before a long weekend and the garage in Kenora said they were basically closed for the weekend and booked up Tuesday but could look at it Wednesday. It is a diesel so it was still ok to drive so we carried on to Winnipeg but called Vardhman from the road. We pulled in and they had already ordered the proper alternator and got us fixed up despite it already being past 5 o’clock on a long weekend. They turned what could have been a horrible experience into a minor speed bump!
