I drive truck for a living and have been to all 50 states and 10 provinces and no where even cames close to rexs when it cumes to breakfast alway cooked to profection and for lunch or supper there are to many thing to menchian that turns your tastbuds upside down and inside out but her are a few rex pizza there steak sub and the baked spagettie P.S. The best all-dressed hot dogs and chips I have ever had. I live in Texas and visit in-laws in Montreal. My husband used to eat here as a child and when he took me to this friendly neighborhood greasy spoon it was like eating a chip for the first time. The steamed hot dog and buns with the delicious toppings melt in your mouth. The bite is chased with the light crispness of the perfectly creamy cole slaw and relish, the welcome spice of a perfect slathering of mustard and the delicate crunch of fresh onion. The chips marry fresh potato taste with the perfect whisper of grease. Rex has become my only motivation for going to Montreal...it certainly isn't to spend time with my in-laws!
