The branch is part of Mediate UK, a service established in 2011 with more than 712 five-star reviews. We help separating and divorcing couples resolve matters about their children and their finances without the stress and cost of court. Mediation begins with a MIAM, an individual Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting that is normally required before you can apply to the family court. Mediators accredited by the Family Mediation Council then support you through child arrangements mediation for decisions about your children, and financial and property mediation to divide assets, pensions and savings fairly. All-issues mediation deals with both in one process, while online and shuttle mediation help families who cannot meet in the same room. Anything you agree can be written into a parenting plan or made legally binding through a consent order. Around 90% of the families who mediate with us reach agreement, usually in far less time than court proceedings, and legal aid is available for those who qualify. To arrange a MIAM or a free consultation, call 0116 488 8504 or email admin@mediateuk.co.uk. Read more
