Terrible experience! First appt their prescribed medicine did not work. After a year, I decide to try them again to see if serviced improved. I was late by 2 minutes after their parking lot is blocked by the nearby school and they wouldn’t see me with a paid deposit appointment. Evidently, they cannot take their demand and YOU and YOUR fur baby will certainly feel it. Maybe cheaper but how much is your time really worth? Stay away……

This will definitely be our new vet! Everyone was kind and professional and helped my dog feel comfortable. Can't beat the pricing either.

I’ve been bringing my pets here for years, and I can’t recommend them enough. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes us feel welcome.
What really sets them apart is their genuine compassion. After one of my cats passed away, a staff member asked about her during a visit. When I shared the news, the entire office actually sent a card that everyone had signed. It was a small gesture, but it truly meant the world to me and my family.

The prices are very reasonable, but the level of care is what keeps me coming back. I don’t live close by, so the fact that I’m willing to go out of my way to come here really says it all. It’s worth the drive for a team that treats your pets like their own.

I was recommended this place and I heard is is an accessible place. Imagine getting a dog for free and we all know Lifeline DeKalb and Fulton County gives out free adoptions and owners will most likely spend on vet care of what they would have spent buying a puppy. I happen to be given my senior dog and spend on vet care. Upon hearing this, Dr. Molly Urban had an extremely weird interaction and alluded that I was being cheap after getting an over $1k quote by saying "free" using quotation finger gestures. What is she trying to say? I should have said that to her but remained cordial. I thought this was an accessible place. Not a judgemental one and that's the attitude I thought. Why work at such place funded my the Atlanta Humane Society and make these comments???!?! Is it because the professionalism can't get you hired elsewhere? I'm a student and trying to afford my pet. Geez. I sincerely regretted even sharing about my pet. No sympathetic, no "oh nice" comment nothing. She could have just been quiet and not say anything at all. First time patient and NOT impressed with the actual veterinarian.

My family and I had been patients of Remedy née AHS vet care for well over 20 years. Several dogs and cats over the years had enjoyed compassionate care from Dr. Dorsey and Dr. Johnson. Whenever my sister, mom or I lost a pet or one of our pets was on a health plan, doctors Dorsey and Johnson called or emailed to check on us and them. If I emailed either of the doctors, a response was quick and very much appreciated. I took that level of care for granted. I was sad when Dr. Johnson took an administrative position at AHS, but I was willing to give the new folks a try. I wish I’d taken the time to read the reviews about Dr. Urban and her lack of and delayed communication. Apologizing for being patient and writing a long, circuitous email doesn’t cut it. With doctors Johnson and Dorsey everything was clear cut. Given my last experience, I understand why your staff raves about Soft Paws. I don’t need or require a response or reason or apology. With the unfortunate loss of Avery but the recommendation of Soft Paws, I think we might have found our new home. Caveat emptor.
