Dr. Kremen received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in neuroscience and psychology, as well as her Master of Arts degrees in neuroscience and behavior, from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., graduating… Dr. Kremen received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in neuroscience and psychology, as well as her Master of Arts degrees in neuroscience and behavior, from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., graduating with a distinction in research. Her research experiences have focused on cognitive remediation in schizophrenia, as well as adolescent eating disorders. Dr. Kremen completed general psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt in Baltimore, Md., and is board certified in Psychiatry. Further training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry was completed at the NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program. She has also completed training for ADOS-2 administration, a standardized assessment for diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as certification for a group-based therapeutic intervention targeting emotional regulation in children with ASD. Areas of clinical interest include inpatient psychiatry and neurodevelopmental disorders. She also has a strong interest in medical education, and serves on the NYP Child & Adolescent training program’s Didactic Steering Committee. Read more
