We hired Next Gen Electric Co. for a lighting installation in Monroe GA, and they did a really nice job. The crew was punctual, careful around the house, and made sure all the lights were working properly before leaving. Very happy with the finished work.

Creativity made the difference in our outdoor patio heater project with Next Gen Electric. The heaters were at the opposite end of the house from the breaker panel, requiring a panel upgrade and careful routing of power through the attic, behind exterior walls, and through the patio ceiling to the control switches and each heater.
The team found thoughtful ways to conceal the heavy-duty wiring, keeping the patio’s appearance residential rather than industrial. They positioned the heaters to warm two separate areas, with independent controls so we can heat either area as needed. They accomplished all of this within a reasonable budget. We appreciated their practical problem-solving and attention to both function and appearance!

Called Next Gen Electric Co for an EV charger installation in Monroe GA after struggling to find a reliable electrician. They walked me through the whole process, gave me an upfront quote, and had everything installed the same week. Since then I've also used them as my go-to electrician in Monroe GA for smaller repairs. Always professional and on time.

I needed an electrician in Monroe GA for some panel work and called Next Gen Electric Co after a friend recommended them. They showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and finished the job without any issues. I also had them do EV charger installation in Monroe GA for my garage, and it works perfectly. Fair pricing and honest service. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electrician in the area.

Well I just found out that you workers came out to help my father and did absolutely nothing but stand there while my 78 year old father troubleshooted his own issue and then your workers charged him $175!! Unbelievable!! Nothing fixed, stood there and did nothing but watch my Dad do everything and then charge him for absolutely nothing! You guys are a rip off!!

UPDATE TO REVIEW AND OWNERS RESPONSE: Thank you for responding with your justification/reasoning for charging $175 for five minutes to a 77yo veteran trying to give a small local business, some business. When you say the charge was for "inspecting the electrical issue" was that walking inside the house and looking inside the fuse box and watching MY DAD flip the breaker? Because that is all that was done. When you say " troubleshooting the breaker" was that your guys staring at the breaker box waiting for the breaker my dad flipped to flip back and realizing it was not going to flip back and then waiting at the box for my dad to troubleshoot the issue by going into the room he was having the issue with and plugging everything back in and my dad going back to the breaker box and flipping the breaker again himself to see if the issue was going to happen as your guys continued to stand there and watch the box? Was that you "providing our professional service"? He was told that it was a " standard call out charge" which would indicate that is what is charged even when work wasn't performed. So, which is it, a normal call out fee or a charge for your list of justifications? The fact is, nothing was done by your guys. They know that, you know that, you still charged this old, sweet guy $175 and apparently are able to just keep on living your life and justifying your decisions. Your response (and value system) is why I just took a star away and 100% confirmed, we will never use you again and I will try to let anyone I know who is in need of electrical work done to not waste their money. It would have been better to not respond at all to this review.
My father (77yo) called them out to look at a breaker that kept flipping, despite different troubleshooting methods. Their address is about 6 miles from us (about 11 min). They arrived and he said they were very friendly (only reason for the 2 stars). Of course, when he showed them the breaker that would not stop flipping, it didn't flip, worked perfectly fine. All they did was drive into his driveway (his house is behind my house on the same property, I saw them arrive and leave) watch his breaker box for about 5 min, do nothing, then leave and still charged him the $175 call out fee. I get that is "just your call out fee" but not a good way to get repeat business. He is a 77yo Veteran living on social security. I will never use them and neither will my sister or mother who live on the property next door to us. We prefer businesses that treat our elderly citizens better and there are several to choose from. They could have at least gave considered the situation and came down on that fee some. It's not like they wasted a ton of gas or time. He called local.
