She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and her graduate degree as a nurse practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. April’s passion for healthcare was inspired by watching her mother navigate multiple sclerosis. Through that experience, she witnessed firsthand the importance of empathy, patient advocacy, resilience, and adaptability. These lessons continue to shape the way she cares for her patients today. April especially enjoys proactively coaching her patients on disease management and seeing them put what they’ve learned into practice. She believes that education and encouragement can empower patients to make meaningful changes and feel more confident in managing their health.
