I only had the bank account opened for a few months. I needed a local bank to deposit cash to transfer to my main bank. In those few months. I had cash deposited into someone else's account. Not using it often, when I noticed a week later, I had to call questioning it and then it was returned to my account. Then experienced extremely slow service at the Broadway location on multiple occasions. I thought the first few times, maybe just an off day. However, it was about 9 out 10 times it would take over 10mins to do a simple deposit. Needless to say I went to close the account and they didn't even ask a reason why, which I thought was funny. They need to work on their customer service and their efficiency.

As I Been having debit card fraud attempts and have had around a dozen this year which involved approximately 2 weeks to get new card that is till the last time 4 weeks to get new card still waiting. So I heard Gate city had a machine for making new cards . Just the place I needed . So I drive fifty miles pull in drive thru put a $1,500 personal check an ask to open anew checking account turns out no one was available to do it . You kept my check on hold I come in the next day had over $50.00 cash ?to open account so I get a new card thinking I had $1550.00 on the card bought gas the went to buy groceries $130.00 and low and behold my card only had $1.30 left so I'm used to the card failures so I always have to carry hundreds of dollars for possibilities of failure at card checkout . And you know you have thousands of dollars in account. But you can't access it . So there I was people staring at me as they tell me I only have$1.30 on my new card . And now I have to see if my check can be taken off hold and be deposited in my account? Which after 3 rd trip to bank I still had to wait for My check, my money to be Available (Around 2 weeks ) plus I Thought I opened a checking account Yet NO Check blanks were issued or even offered . ?? I'm hoping the Widely Boasted of Internet Security with the Boasted of Privacy (Which is Monitored ) will be Someday be put in effect. I am in no way putting any personal blame on Gate City Bank or any other Institutions using the internet to Enhance their operations. But the designers of the InternetSecurity and components sold separately to Secure the Supposedly Already Secure info. Seems with all Security and Monitored Privacy the Hackers should be Monitored and Stopped with Ease. Unless they are as the manufacturers of many food products which are Allowed a percentage of rat crap etc. In the product sold. . Sorry I had a Runaway here. I'm happy to know Gate City has a on-site debitcard making machine . I will miss the ability of Cash on Hand . Thank You for Your time . 5 Stars for the Debit card printing machine Availability . I'm done now.

This branch has definitely gotten better. Don't know if it's new management or what but keep it up whatever you're doing. Great customer service with a smile every time I come in!

Although I am not a customer with Gate City Bank, they were able to help me with a cash advance since my bank does not have a physical location within Minot.
The teller was very friendly and professional. She handled my transaction as efficiently as possible.
Another employee allowed me to go into another office that was unused at the moment to count the money before leaving.
Overall great service!! Highly recommend.
