Very incompetent and unprofessional. Would not recommend using them!!!!! Contacted Dafoe to replace my roof at the cottage due to the last ice storm. Spoke to Dale and he said he would do the roof within 2 weeks. After 1 month of no show, left several messages with no return calls from Dale. Kept calling 3 times a week and no return call. The couple of times that I got a hold of Dale, he said that they would be out within a few days to do the roof. Approximately 4 months later, several more messages with no call back and still no date to install the roof. If they were not interested or too busy to do the roof, they should have let me know so that I could make other arrangements instead of leaving me in limbo. Finally got fed up and contacted On Time Roofing on Thursday July 24th and they are here today, Tuesday, July 29th completing the roof work. 5 days later which is amazing.

I am actually glad that I went with someone else instead of Dafoe. If I had all this trouble before they started the work I can just imagined the trouble I would have if I had to contact them in case of warranty issues.

We made the error of using Dafoe Roofing to install our roof during the construction of our home in 2016. The workmanship was so poor during the construction that our builder had them re-do a large patch of the roof that our builder said was not acceptable. In addition another region of the roof had shingles fall off during the construction of the roof. Anyways the roof was eventually completed and since that time we have lost shingles on 2 separate occasions since the roof was done only 3 years ago. The first time my builder used his own crew to repair the damage. This last time I contacted Dafoe Roofing myself and they agreed to do the repair. I emailed them photos of the damage. I waited for over 7 months for this repair. I contacted them repeatedly during this time and they always said they would come but they never did! Finally my neighbour recommended another roofing company. They came within 3 days of my contacting them and they have repaired my roof. I will never deal with Dafoe Roofing again. I recommend that you NEVER use Dafoe Roofing for any work. I am amazed they are still in business given their extremely poor workmanship and incredibly poor service (total lack of responsiveness). I hope this review will save other people from making the same mistake that I did.
