It’s been a few years since our basement was completed and we had an issue with one of the pot lights. We reached out to Basement Builder’s enquiring about the product so we could get it fixed, assuming it was our responsibility now, but they sent an electrician over and fixed our issue promptly. We love our basement and the work completed and would recommend Basement Builder’s for your project.

I had a great experience working with Jagdeep, the owner of Bareta Construction, and his amazing team and partners. They built my secondary legal suite in just 2.5 months with steady progress and smooth coordination. All inspections were completed on time without delays, and the final result is excellent, the basement looks amazing, clean, and professionally finished. We had a great experience working with Basement Builders, and would absolutely work with them again. Our basement project was pretty big - approximately 1800 sqft, and they executed on time and on budget. When we were planning the project, we were considering GCing it ourselves, and I'm so glad we didn't because Basement Builders made the whole process so much easier, less stressful, and it was done much quicker.

I would consider us more challenging clients, because we had high expectations and we were perhaps more involved in the project than some other clients because we had been through a few other renovation projects. We worked with Mathew (owner) directly on several items, and he always demonstrated flexibility where he could, made sure to make us feel heard and prioritized making sure we were happy and satisfied with the work. Our PMs Murray and Ryan were always responsive and Kristina (designer) was so thoughtful and great to work with. She did a great job trying to balance decisions with aesthetic and cost. It is very apparent that they have built a culture at their business with great people who definitely care about customer satisfaction.

Their trades teams were also great - great to work with and did excellent work. The execution of the trades work truly reflects a great working relationship with between the trades and Basement Builders.

We have had a couple of very minor warranty things to address since finishing the project, and basement builders has been incredibly responsive, with the trades being at our place the next day to fix things up.

We have worked with a lot of different trades and companies over the years with a few projects here in Calgary, and I can honestly say Basement Builders has been the best so far.
