I had an amazing experience with HMJ with the job they completed yesterday the 04 of juin 2026. Mr. Hussein and his team did an excellent job installing my fence and gate. He came on-site to evaluate my needs, explained the options clearly, and made sure I was satisfied before every major step. His professionalism and customer‑focused approach truly stand out.The team is friendly, respectful, and reflects the strong values of the company. The quality of the work is outstanding my entire family loves the result.
Highly recommend HMJ for anyone looking for reliable, professional fence and gate installation.

I typically only write reviews for exemplary performance, and HMJ demonstrated exactly that. Professionalism, excellent team management, clever craftmanship & no BS - just honesty. Exactly what is needed is contracting.

Had 280 ft dark grey PVC fence installed by HMJ. Not only were they the most competitive price but they were also able to complete the project in under 2 weeks (would have been less but had a few rainy days, extending the concrete drying phase). The fence looks incredible and feels extremely solid. Dealing with Hussein was easy and he was very responsive. The installer, Nick, made sure to check in and validate decisions with us whenever necessary as well as update us on progress. Could not be happier with the end result, highly recommend them.

HMJ Contracting exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work truly set them apart. Communication was clear and consistent, timelines were respected, and the final result was outstanding. It’s rare to find a contractor who takes such pride in their work and treats your project like it’s their own. I would highly recommend HMJ Contracting to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality workmanship. Definitely a company you can trust.

I recently hired HMJ Contracting to handle a full renovation of my condo unit in Ottawa while I was living abroad, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Being out of town, I needed a company I could fully trust to take care of everything — from planning and materials to managing trades and timelines — and HMJ absolutely delivered.

Their communication was excellent throughout the entire project. They kept me updated with progress photos, quick responses, and clear explanations whenever decisions needed to be made. The workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding, and they treated my property as if it were their own.

It’s not easy managing a renovation from overseas, but HMJ made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and trustworthy contractor in Ottawa.
