I’ve been a part of this church for almost 2 years now and it’s been wonderful to grow and learn with my North Village family. From the warm welcome the first time I stepped through the doors, to getting plugged in to small groups, it’s really helped strengthen my faith. If you are looking for a church, hope to see you here soon! ❤️

Went for a few years back in 2011-2014. Only writing a review now because I just realized you can leave google reviews for churches. Made some good friends there but the leadership wasn’t great. They are/were part of Mark Driscoll’s Acts 29 network. At the time I was there victims of Driscoll’s abuse were coming forward and I brought it to the pastor. He literally laughed me off and said the victims just wanted attention because Driscoll was a “celebrity pastor.” Their associate pastor went to work with Driscoll personally, I also told them about Driscoll. They said they didn’t want to tell me because they knew my thoughts on the issue. Interesting. Well soon after he went to work for him Driscoll was ousted and kicked out of the church and the network and his church was dissolved. It’s almost like…we should listen to victims the first time and not associate with abusive people in power as a church. Hm. Leadership never acknowledged what happened nor apologized for not believing me/the victims. But I digress. Lastly, I fostered two boys while I attended the church. I did it by myself as a single woman. And not only did I get little help from the church (i didn’t expect much but damn) but the pastor asked me to stop bringing the boys to service because they “disrupted” his sermons when I had to leave service to help them with meltdowns (they were severely abused before I had them). That made me feel pretty bad and not great! They will probably respond to this saying they don’t remember any of this. Which is highly convenient don’t you think? But I got people to corroborate for me. There is more I could say but this is long so I’ll leave it at that.

Best Church in Austin! Pastor Michael teaches the word of God. He speaks truth and uses scripture to back it up! Their worship service is phenomenal! Jasmin (Jas) is an amazing worshipper who brings you into the presence of God. Very clean and new building! Awesome kids programs! Fun for the whole family! My family truly enjoy the teachings, the love, and friendship of North Village Church. I highly recommend.
