We drove over 2 hrs to get bagles, for my Girlfriend's Birthday.their site says they are open till 3pm .got there at noon ,not open ! We wouldn't have driven this far ,but we have been there several times ,and bought many packs of bagels to take home and put in the freezer. We also have a couple bagel and lox when we are there.We realy like their food,They need to update their website with the correct hours of operations. There were several people wanting to get in when we arrived.

My neighborhood staple. Wonderful big bagel sandwiches at good prices and the best people behind the counter. They have a crazy wide dribk selection and smoothies, I've never left disappointed, highly recommend.

So, my wife and I discovered this little slice of New York while in the area. Being the hungry guy that I was, we decided to try it out. I'm glad we did!
We walked in and were promptly greeted with a smile. Looking at the menu, I decided on the Chelsea Ruben sandwich and my wife got the Turkey and Cheese wrap.
Both items were made fresh and they were very tasty. The Ruben had plenty of meat and the sauer Kraft and dressing was in right proportions. My wife's wrap was a fantastic portion and had everything in the right amounts as well.
For being in Chicago, this NY style shop has the right thing going on! Of in the area, we will definitely be back!

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! First visited back in October 2021 during the pandemic, and am glad this spot still has fresh and perfectly doughy bagels. Pictured here are their popular Rainbow Bagel, multi-grain bagel with jalapeño cream cheese (Disclaimer: with pieces of chopped jalapeños, it's spicy!), and a tub of their one-of-a-kind spinach and kalamata olive cream cheese. Also ordered a half dozen of their bagels ($9), not pictured here. Will be back for sure.

I discovered this place in a completely unpretentious way, and as I love NYC bagels I decided to stop and try them, but I confess that I expected more. There were many options, the best choice was smoked salmon with cream cheese, but the bagel was a little hard and cold, it seemed to have come straight from a refrigerator, it didn't seem fresh, it could have been a little warmed up. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was good.
