Unfortunately, our experience with First Heritage Mortgage and specifically Todd Call was extremely disappointing.

We spoke with Todd one time at the very beginning of the process before getting started, and then saw him one additional time at a meeting. After that meeting, Todd told us he would “get with us and talk about everything.” We never heard from him.

I personally tried calling him and received no response. It took my realtor repeatedly texting him before he finally responded to her. Communication throughout the process was extremely poor, and we often felt like we had to chase someone down just to get basic answers or updates.

What made the experience even more frustrating was that Todd told us in the beginning that he was there for us any time of day if we needed him. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at all. When we needed communication or assistance, he was largely unavailable.

We also found that he was unwilling to work with us or consider any of the things we asked about. There were multiple instances where we were told one thing, only to have something completely different happen afterward. That lack of communication and consistency made an already stressful process even more frustrating.

Buying a home is a huge financial decision, and having a mortgage professional who communicates, follows through, and makes you feel like they actually care about helping you is extremely important. Unfortunately, we did not receive that level of service from Todd.

I would not recommend Todd Call based on our experience. We expected much better communication, follow-through, and customer service from someone handling such an important part of the home-buying process.

I had a great experience working with my mortgage broker throughout the home-buying process. They were knowledgeable, patient, and always available to answer my questions. They explained every step clearly, helped me find the best loan option for my situation, and made the process much less stressful. Their communication was excellent, and they kept me informed from the beginning until closing. I truly appreciate all of their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional mortgage broker.
