Got Rosati's "Deluxe" (aka "Garbage") Pizza tonight. It was excellent--juicy, perfectly cooked thin crust, ready for pickup exactly on time. Medium size was just right for two.
Small store, clean. Good service.

Our first time. Pizza was delicious - no doubt about it, but order pickup was a bad experience. I ordered at 4:15 on Friday 7/16, and was told 25-30 minutes. 3 other folks came in for pick up about the same time I did - around 4:45. We were all told about ten more minutes for our orders. No one got their order in ten minutes or without having to go back to the counter and ask for status. It was an additional 25 minute wait for me, but I had to go up when I thought my order was ready (I had a calzone that came in a smaller box). The original 30 minute estimate turned into 55 minutes. In addition, packaging was awful for my free garlic bread that they advertised. My house and my car are still airing out!

This truly the best pizza I have tasted in years. We took advantage of the Be Our Guest special on Fox 59. The staff was extremely nice but very confused about the special. We was there for at least an hour while they figured it out. We also purchased an $8 special sandwich deal that according to the poster was available Monday through Thursday. We were not charged $8, we where charged la carte prices for each item (drink, sandwich, and fries). If for some reason it was not available for that price it would have been nice to know. There was so much confusion. I was initially charged $75.00 for my order and then questioned the price. We finally settled on $66.96 plus tax. Again, I loved the pizza and the employees were awesome. They did the best they could to figure it out. This is more of a training issue than anything. Regardless, I will be back.

The quality of this place has plummeted over the past several months. I won't be going back. Chicago pizza is excellent. This place is awful. The ingredients are sparse. Note: Chicago pizza doesn't have "toppings;" it has "ingredients." You shouldn't be able to see sauce when you look at a Chicago thin crust. The cheese should be heavy and go all the way to the edge. Ideally, every bite should have sausage, but certainly, every piece should have sausage on it.
This pathetic effort had piece after piece with no sausage. The crust is floppy, not crisp. The cheese is thin. A Chicago thin crust pizza should be heavy. This isn't. Rosati's has become Domino's at an inflated price. Rosati's should close this place before it drags down the entire brand. Look at the picture. This is school cafeteria pizza in Chicago.
Rosati's had a decent reputation in Chicago, but I won't visit another Rosati's. Just another place living off a name and a reputation from long ago while driving quality into the ground.

Absolutely fabulous, my family and I have been searching for a real good pizza place for a long time and we finally found it in Rosati's. The Italian beef reminds me of home, as a Chicago native I find it hard to find this sandwich made properly especially when they say Chicago style! This place does it right, fabulous customer service too!
