Where to begin? Erica has been a long-standing friend of mine for some time and has always offered a shoulder, a laugh, and heartfelt advice over the years. She's incredibly passionate about what she does and is easy to learn from when it comes to teachable moments about structures of behavior and different modalities she uses. She's always charismatic, professional, an intent listener, she holds space for everyone, and is empathetic to the gray areas that life brings.

Erica also was the officiant for mine and my husband's small elopement back in 2019. Her background in theater really gave me peace of mind that she'd nail it without those jitters that I know I especially suffer from when addressing a crowd, and she delivered a wonderful and touching speech to usher us both into marriage. She stepped to the side for the first kiss shot which was a really professional touch so our photographer could get an unobstructed photo too! We're so happy to have chosen her as the only non-family member at our little elopement.

She's incredibly knowledgeable about her profession as a therapist and is ever-expanding her continued education on new, better, or more diversely beneficial practices. While not a client of hers myself, she was actually my client when creating her brand and website! I got the behind the scenes view of how she operates her business and her approach in communicating with her clients. Knowing her as a friend first, this was such a delight to watch her pour herself and her personality into her craft and let those best parts shine through to help her clients. She's really doing what she's meant to with Affinity Counseling.
