Monday mornings can be busy, as expected. I pre-booked for 8:30 & arrived 20 minutes early to stand in the registration line. Kind R.N. took my blood - no pinch, no bruising! Smooth experience, friendly staff. I was in a room at 8:29 & out by 8:34. My hat's off to the staff who work as a team to help patients & their needs. Washroom is available by the waiting area. Well done. Thank you!

Every time I come here I have a bad experience…. This time I booked an appointment more than a month in advance- for 9:10am. I got there at 9:05am and waited for 20 min. I heard them call 10 people’s names before me (all walk-in, waited less than 10 min) meanwhile I realized they didn’t even have me registered in the system as “present”. When I went and asked the girls at the front desk, they asked me TWICE if I had an appointment (when I registered/arrived I clearly told them I had appointment). Then, someone did send me to a room, and another girl came back and did my blood work. She just poked me and that was it. I realize you made a mistake, but at least fess up and apologize. She didn’t say a word. All it takes is a “I’m very sorry for the wait/the mistake.” Don’t make it seem like I’M inconveniencing YOU. I also have places to be, I am 7 months pregnant and I work in healthcare and have to get to work after- that’s why I booked the early am appt. I’m not going to say the other lifelabs is much better but I will be avoiding this location at all costs and if possible, booking with Alpha labs in the future.

The staff that took my blood, a lovely lady named Sara, did an amazing job! She has only been doing this for ust over 3 years but it was one of my best experiences. I get blood taken a lot and find it stressful and sometimes painful but in her case, her technique was pain free and I could barely feel when she switched out tubes.

It was quick for registration. I did not wait long. The nurse who did my ECG made me feel so extremely comfortable especially with it being my first time and a trans man who doesn't like to remove clothing. She was just fantastic and made me feel human.

Front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable, I got in for my appointment without even needing to wait at all. The woman, Bronwen, who took my blood was friendly, professional, and took my blood so easily I hardly felt it all. Super happy with my experience, I've never been seen and processed so quickly but also so comfortably.
