My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Pleasant Dome. The positives, the dome was clean and beautiful, nice and warm from the moment we arrived. Equipped with coffee (2), hot chocolate (2), tea, sugar, salt, and pepper. The hot tub was nice, though there was some debris. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately, when we went to use the shower, it wouldn't drain. We let them know. Their initial response was for us to look for a blockage and pour hot water down the drain - note, the drain wasn't draining AT ALL and was already full of cold water, and told us that they would have their cleaner deal with it upon checkout. So, their expectation was for us to spend 2 nights there without a working shower. When we expressed our displeasure, the response changed to them ordering drano and a drain snake to the dome for us. It was to arrive in an hour. 90 minutes later, my husband followed up and was answered with, "as we told you a few moments ago..." As though our getaway being disrupted while we wait on a solution was somehow inconvenient to them. Then they told us that "the app" said to expect delivery at 9pm. Nothing arrived until the next day, but we were assured early in the morning that plumbers would be there in an hour or two. Close to three hours later, my husband followed up, again, because us asking them was the only way we got information, they did not reach out to us unprompted with information. The plumbers arrived around one and the first thing they said was, "I hear you have a frozen drain." Well, we weren't told that, but sure. I asked them if that's what they figured the problem was, and they said yes, because they had just been there the day before for one of the other domes having the same issue. The hosts could have explained this likelihood to us right away. They could have apologized for the inconvenience, and saved themselves the cost of Drano and a snake. Thankfully, the plumbers had the issue solved within 30 minutes. But, at this point, we had spent over half of our getaway waiting for solutions. We still had a lovely time, all said and done, and we know that things can go wrong, and they did solve the problem, eventually. I understand that, especially in the winter, things can go wrong. But their dismissive handling of us as clients, the attitude we were given for checking in and following up, and the lack of an offer of any kind of compensation for our inconvenience definitely soured the experience. If this were an out of ten rating, they would get a 7. But, they don't deserve a 3, and I can't do half a star, so 4, it is. In the future, handling clients with a bit more care and consideration could be the difference between a 4 and a 5.

We stayed at the Fishing Dome at Lake Pleasant Glamping and it was absolutely incredible! The dome was cozy, well set up, and gave us the perfect mix of comfort and nature.
The amenities made the experience unforgettable, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, paddling around the lake on kayaks and paddle boards, and finishing the evening by the fire pit under the stars. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and everything is set up so you can just enjoy and unwind.
A huge thank you to our host for being so welcoming and thoughtful, you can really tell how much care goes into making this place special. If you’re looking for a unique getaway that combines adventure with relaxation, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

We are world travellers and have been to many five star resorts but your glamping campground takes the cake!! The king size bed, kitchen, spacious washroom, and our own hot tub definitely made our stay enjoyable.
It was cozy and the decor was outstanding.
We stayed one night, but we will staying two next year as we will make this a family tradition.
It was also nice that the yurts that we stayed in were next door to each other.
The robes were cozy and the bed was like a gigantic pillow.
Great job Pleasant Lake Glamping. Til we meet again!!

We loved it!! We are a big blended family and we stayed in the amazing Lake House for a weekend getaway before my youngest daughter heads off to University and it was exactly what we needed - we had beautiful sunny days spent swimming in the lake, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Tons of space and the kitchen is so big it made meal times less chaotic with so many of us! And the name is perfect: Lake Pleasant is calm and beautiful and it was the most tranquil spot to connect as a family and to disconnect and truly enjoy nature. My daughter also turned 18 there! Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake house. We hope to come again!
PS: We’ve also stayed in the geodome on the same property for a romantic getaway just the 2 of us and loved that too!

What a beautiful location!! The domes were well equipped and even came with a little goodie basket. Our dome had full shower, hot tub and heat pumps - it was a real glamping experience! There's a sauna right by the lake as well which was so nice in the cold weather. We woke up to the most beautiful sunrise. So happy to spend a weekend away. The hosts were wonderful! Will definitely be visiting again 😊
