I've made it a point to try coffee shops everywhere I go, always looking for an exceptional cup. After visiting countless cafés, I can honestly say that Relay Coffee Roasters is still the best coffee I've ever had.

Their Espresso Blend is outstanding—smooth, rich, perfectly balanced, and incredibly flavourful without any harsh bitterness. It's the kind of coffee that keeps you coming back and sets the standard for what great espresso should taste like.

If you're visiting, do yourself a favour and try the Espresso Blend. After all the coffee I've had over the years, it's still my favourite.

Fantastic coffee and drink menu, great pastries, try their waffles! They also serve alcohol, sandwiches, and just about anything you need. Even more popular once folks realized Heated Rivalry was filmed here 😉. Love it! Parking on King William and a large, open parking lot across the street.

Super cute little coffee shop. We went on a Sunday at lunch time and we did not have to wait that much. The only downside was the fact that there doesn't seem to be enough tables for how many people gather at peak times (we waited to eat until a family left and gave us their table) but with the size of the place it's unfortunately not really something that can be easily remedied. I got an iced coffee with the cheesecake and the waffle was rich and filling. Great vibes overall! I went because of heated rivalry and I was not disappointed!

We drove all the way from Markham—you probably know why: Heated Rivalry.
The “Straw+Berry” sign is replaced with its original one - Relay Coffee Roasters.
And still, you have to use your imagination, your memory, and your eyes to find the sweetness Scott and Kip once shared in this place.

Snow has covered the rose-gold glow that once warmed the audience in the play. The counter feels farther now—from the entrance, from the window where Scott once looked down at his phone.

Most importantly, you can’t find the smoothie with extra banana -
Blue moon over Brooklyn.
