I would like to start off by saying the work that was done to my 2012 LML Duramax was great. I'm not trying to make an ill or negative review about this company, however the way the owner (Curtis) treated me during the end of this service was disappointing to say the least.. Im trying to inform people about the way you might be treated..
I brought my truck into this shop requesting a new motor. As we talked we went over pricing and timelines, we came up with an estimated total of 30k for the entire project and 20% down payment to get started. As we went along I was notified there were things that needed replacing, turbo, fuel lines, hydro lines, starter, batteries, lift pump filters, etc. I approved everything that they had recommended, another 7k. I was getting a call from them every evening saying everything is going good, but one day I got a call from them saying on their final test drives my doors stopped working… (side note- my truck is wheelchair accessible and has automatic doors with a hydraulic lift in it) so after work I drive over there to see if there was something I could do or try that would make them work, as they are unfamiliar with the system…. with no luck, I told them I’m going to try and contact a professional that knows the truck.. I left and called an accessibility dealer that has worked on the system before.. they recommended bringing it in as they couldn’t do much without seeing it. Unfortunately I couldn’t get an appointment until a month later. The next week I talked with Shane about a plan to take it to the accessibility dealer. He had to talk with his boss about the plan and they had reservations as the truck had not gone through their whole final inspection process. I said okay how about my dad and I both come out and take a look at it in a last ditch effort to see if maybe he sees something I don’t. Unfortunately with no luck we talked more about who might have caused this problem.. we didn’t know so we all came to an agreement that if they caused the problem they would pay for it. As part of the agreement I had to pay my bill in full before taking it and as soon as it’s done at the accessibility place the truck is to be returned to them for the final leak inspection and test drives.. AT NO EXTRA COST.. because I had already paid my bill and that was included in the payment. Eventually after finally getting my truck into the accessibility place they called saying the cause was loose wiring.. as vision did not work on that system there is no way for me to prove that it was something they did, so I just paid for it. Eventually I got the truck back from the accessibility place and back to the guys at vision. Two days go by and I get a call saying my truck is done but they didn’t make any money off the truck due to the amount of time and labor trying to figure out what was wrong with the doors. I responded with I’d rather talk in person about that.. so we ended up meeting at the shop. Curtis (the owner) is standing there as Shane tells me all the reasons why I should be paying more for labor and as soon as I said no I’m not paying anything more than what we had agreed too.. Curtis says “WOW okay I guess I thought you would have more integrity than that.. so moving forward you have a warranty on the motor from the company you bought it from and we will back our work if you have any issues with what we worked on, but other than that there will be no service conducted between us in the future” and then just walked away and got on a computer, I tried asking what had changed.. but he just sat at his computer and said nothing as Shane handed me my keys.. and away we went..

We have a 2020 Duramax that have a ticking noise coming from the engine. Chevy dealership is pretty much was directing us towards replacing the engine

The guys over at vision were able to diagnose it and take care of it for us a third of the price. These guys are amazing. Being in a service industry myself I really appreciate how well they communicated on a daily basis while they’re working on the vehicle, top notch all the way around

I would highly recommend them to anybody

I’m very happy with all of the work done on my 6.7 Cummins diesel. I had a leak in the coolant intake that I could not find and they successfully repaired it. They also installed the FASS fuel filter system that is working perfectly. I was referred to Vision Diesel by 3 family members that have had 3 other diesel trucks repaired with great results. I will recommend Vision Diesel to my family and friends in the future.
