It is accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The Montessori Children's Community opened in September 5, 2006 in the heart of the Cambie/Oakridge area in Vancouver and accepts children between three to five years of age in the morning session, with the older children staying in the afternoon for the extended day programme.
