We visited this cavernous store yesterday and found many treasurers. The book department is overwhelming - bring your most comfortable shoes and peepare for a several hour slog through lotsa great stuff.
Staff is helpful and polite, wonderful mix of customers --all in all a wonderful experience in a cultured world capitol.
Aren't people from Montreal exceptional - good looking, well dressed and friendly to just the right degree?

I could not locate this Salvation Army Thrift Store (Armee du Salut) at 1620 Notre-Dame Ouest either through Google Maps or Yahoo Maps. It took over 20 minutes to get a website that listed this address.
It is really well-hidden!
