Have been having my footwear repaired at Stevenson's for more than 30 years, including some specialty work. Service has consistently been great. Quality of repairs is excellent. Very reasonable rates. Work has always been completed on time. Just had some Blundstone boots repaired (re-soled) - even though the manufacturer said that their boots couldn't be repaired, Stevenson's had no difficulty providing me with a first-class repair! The boots look better than new. Victoria is fortunate to have a shoe-repair business of this calibre.

Similarly to the other reviewers I had a negative experience with customer service at Stevenson's. I took my favourite pair of oxfords to get resoled(for almost the same price that I paid for them) and the repair job looked very nice on the bottom but there was some damage done to the uppers on both sides. When I questioned the owner about the damage and asked politely for a discount I was greeted with a very angry and aggressive response. The exchange, (exchange being a generous term, it was more of a rant) resulted in tears on my end, no discount, and the grossly self-satisfied proprietor stomping out and telling me I wasn't worth his time. I have never had an experience like that before.
