About a week ago, I was walking past Searle's and although I had originally not had any intention of going in, because I thought they would sell mainly styles for customers much older or more conservative than myself, with prices way out of my budget anyway.However some brand names of sandals that I recognized, with sale prices in the window caught my eye,so I went in. I was very surprised that there were so many staff available to actually help customers try on shoes,you sit down, and staff bring you the shoes and help you fit them on your foot with real shoehorns. This is real oldfashioned personal service which I didn't think existed anymore! And never once did they try to upsell me even though I was interested in only sale items, no regular price items, respecting my choices in what I liked and styles that I felt comfortable with. Staff (both male and female) were very cheerful, pleasant, professional, and very knowlegeable about the different brands and how to fit a shoe properly on different feet. They carry only quality made, very reputable brands of various footwear. I found aunique style pair of fine quality comfortable leather shoes that I am thrilled with, and saved over $100.00 off the regular price. I will definitely return to the store based on my positive experience with my first time visit.
