I buy shoes according to need. Like right now! lol. I am about as organized as... ok there is no example to give, but let's just say I buy on impulse when the occasion springs that new shoes are needed.
I have purchased all of my shoes and my sons here for the past 15 years. I ahve large feet for a woman (big foot, I swear) so I am always looking for a show that looks a little more feminine, but is infact a man soes. I always leave happy, with a great deal and happy feet.
This store is a personal one, where everyone knows your name and they know my shopping style. I shop fast. I spit out my needs and they immediatly show up with a few shoes for me to pick and go.
My son also has difficult feet with really high arches so bruising can be a big issue in cheap shoes or ones you'd find in a department store so I always stick with the personal service and quality guarenteed to me at Gilbert's Shoes. Theie store alone is a great reason to shop in downtown Wiarton.

I don't think you're any different than most women when it comes to buying shoes, lol! It's like, you see them in the window & then the shoes work their magic, calling you, beckoning you to come closer, saying in your ear, ever so tantalizing "Buy Me! You know you want to! Take me home! You know you want to!" And that is how a new shoe finds a home! Thanx for sharing this store with the rest of us. It's hard to find a place to shop for shoes that you need with a unique size of foot or shape & it sounds like they provide amazing service! :)
