See the guy in the white t-shirt? He's from Tops Roofing & Siding in Hamilton. A family owned business since 1982, that doesn't believe in training or requiring their workers to tie off while on the job.

Normally I wouldn't care or post, except he's been mouthing off about me because I "had nothing better to do than call the MOL" on him after his guys started working on a neighbour's roof. Hmm, well if you cared about your workers, you would comply with the law and not risk their death by roof fall.

I called 4 different company's for a quote on siding, eves and soffits. Joe's price wasn't the lowest or the highest but I just got a good feeling about him and as it turned out I was right. Joe started the job on Dec 11th and promised it would be complete before Christmas and even though we got an extreme cold spell as well as a snow storm ( we even said under these conditions we understood if it could not be completed on time) Joe and his crew showed up everyday for work. ( on several days it was just Joe as his help said it was to cold to work). Not only was the work completed on time Joe went the extra mile. He noticed that there were not enough vents under the old stuff and took the time to cut in more. Joe also noticed a problem at one point where there was a leak that caused water to run down in between our wall and took the time to remove the affected area and repair the problem. It's that kind of attention to detail and the fact that the house looked great when completed that is why I would recommend Top roofing and siding (Joe) to anyone who's thinking of getting siding (or roofing) done to anyone. Thanks Joe.

We hired Joe from recommendations from our neighbours on Inverness Ave, Joe had done numerous roofs in the neighbourhood. Well I must say we were delighted with the job. Joe was on site each day, the roofers were polite fast and efficient, they ever cleaned out our eaves, free of charge. My husband and I cant express out thanks enough to Joe and Lucy and the guys, THANKS IT WAS A GREAT JOB!
Oh yes and the price he charged beat all the competitors. Thanks Joe, your the BEST!!

We had Tops Roofing And Siding install 3 Skylights for us. We did not have skylights prior to this installation. No other company was interested or wanted to take on this job. We are so happy that Joe was able to install these Skylights for us. Great Job!
So pleased and we will definitely recommend this Company.

I made arrangements with Joe to work on my roof and when discussing the plans it sounded perfect so I went ahead and paid the deposit to start the work. As the work progressed many issues occurred and he became very unpleasant to deal with once I started to point out issues and concerns I had as the work commenced in the end the job was completed but with many headaches. Wouldn't deal with him ever again and would not recommend him.

I had my complete roof done. The owner and secretary were very kind and easy to talk to. The labourers cleaned up debris and nails daily until job was completed. The owner was always on site over looking the labourers and job. I am really pleased with their work and would recommend them to family and friends.

A big thank to Joe at Tops Roofing and Siding. He was prompt in coming out to our place and giving us a quote. He also gave us a reasonable time frame to get our roof replaced. Also, his two employees were hardworking and polite young men. They did an excellent job! Thanks!

I had work done at my home by this company. They were very curtious and professional. We were very happy with the installation of a new roof with 40 Year Shingles. Two other neighbours had the same work done and were very pleased. They also did some additonal work for us and did not charge us. We appreciated that very much. I would recommend this company to any of my friends or family.
