I have bad adhd and struggle to read and understand the agreement. Kacie was extremely accommodating and helped me understand what I was actually doing. With friendly staff, well-kept units, and a full walk through of what I'm getting into id say it's the safest and most affordable storage units in town. When a company and its staff treats you like a human and not a paycheck, you owe them the business.

Kacie was incredibly helpful and explained everything to us in detail. Absolutely will refer others to go talk to her when needing storage. Made a very stressful situation go smooth and easy for us!!
The storage units themselves are very clean and well maintained. Easy to find and get to, lots of security measures as well so we don’t need to be worried about our items!

I stored my car at Sentinel Storage in Lethbridge from mid-December to early April (about 3.5 months). When I first signed up, there was a promotion offering roughly half the regular rate, and I was informed that the standard rate would apply afterward.

To my surprise, they extended the promotion and ultimately charged me less than I had expected. I was also late on one of my monthly payments, but the team was very understanding and even waived the late fee. As a businessperson myself, I truly appreciate this level of customer service—they went above and beyond.

Additionally, storing a vehicle during the winter in Lethbridge can be challenging due to the cold weather. I expected potential issues, but my car was exactly as I left it—no damage and no problems starting.

The facility is clean, well-maintained, and secure, which made the entire experience even better.

A special thank you to Kristina and the entire team for their outstanding support and I highly recommend their services.

I would not recommend SS's online rental system. For this location, it was an annoying back and forth with multiple same questions process. Be aware that proof of contents insurance is mandatory! Read the fine print on the insurance they offer as it basically covers nothing so I was forced to purchase additional insurance for my contents to be properly insured. My welcome package included my entrance code which was "checked and verified in working order." I had originally planned to newly arrive in the city after hours. I arrived during business hours to an invalid code that had to be corrected. The storage locker was clean but after unloading my items, we discovered my lock would not work because the mechanism was for a cylinder lock only. I had to purchase a new lock.

Between the mandatory insurance and cylinder lock purchase (which we were told was a standard rental lock now), do not reply on the fees quoted as there will be additional costs.

The facility is also not fully paved so I found the amount of dust covering our stored items after four months was substantial.

I have been storing my items in Lethbridge North at a very reasonable price for a large unit, the grounds are very well kept, and the staff is amazing.

Consistent upgrades and I feel like my items are very secure until I’m able to buy a new house in British Columbia and move everything else

*** It has been brought to my attention that my original review was unclear and unfortunately didnt reach the correct people!!! THIS location in itself HAS BEEN AMAZING! !!! Friendly people who are wonderful to work with and do everything they can to help with the day to day workings! I understand that it is beyond their control how head office controls the billing, and because of this they can not help in the situation i persaonally am in. I have chatted with them before and understand what i would need to do to reset the cycle, which THEY CAN NOT CHANGE. Secure site BUT with their billing system being on the 28 day cycle they end up over charging you!!! Insanely expensive!!!!! Awesome place for SHORT TERM storage needs, I would highly recommend them short term only!!!! Long term and you do end up losing money.
I'm sorry my original wording came across incorrectly to the on site staff as they have been wonderful!

I guess the payments are only beneficial for those people who are working full time and receive a paycheck every 2 weeks and are able to pay ahead of those on set monthly pay. Those unable to work, on disability, aish or other, who don't have the means to just pull hundreds out whenever suffer from this billing style!!!
Not having access for long periods (gate code locked out), late charges, and constant reminders of non payments. Making one feel absolutely aweful each month begins to become a problem and makes you feel like trash. NOT like you have been loyal, reliable and valued customer!!! Not to mention out right attacked in person when you DO voice your opinion is just outright wrong!!!!

Be very careful they seem to change policies on a whim, nothing but broken promises from them. I was a customer for almost four years and they treated me like trash. I will never do business with them again.
