Great service thanks to Prince. Very well informed and he likes to mix it up with jokes. I had to joke he’s my long lost brother.
And another worker was there named MJ. Although he didn’t help me and my partner, I saw him helping a grumpy customer and he was doing his best to fulfill her request. He was very calm dealing with her.

Prince did great. Easy on-boarding process. Seamless. Just getting into the unit. Will leave further review about storage experience later.

3.5 months later, Shelby made me drive back 30 + minutes to clear out one small FedEx unused box?? Or else I’ll get charged move out/disposal fee. Crazy 🤦🏾‍♂️. Had to take back my initial good ratings.

From the moment I pulled up it was an amazing experience. Shelby, the manager was absolutely amazing. She was detailed and thorough explaining everything. The staff is super friendly and laid back. What made this experience enjoyable for me is that we were able to just have casual conversation about random things and you don’t have that type of experience everywhere. Keep up the good work guys! I normally don’t take the time to write reviews about storage units, but my experience with Sentinels Rental specifically the manning location was frustrating enough that I feel people should be aware before choosing to do business here.

First, the location itself is poorly set up for customers. They advertise customer parking, but when I arrived, the only spaces available were taken by their own staff. This meant I had to scramble for somewhere else to park, which is not ideal when you’re dealing with moving boxes and heavy items. Customer parking should be prioritized for customers — not employees. Not to mention I’m a handicap and there’s zero accessible parking- that again staff were parked in.

Second, and more importantly, the customer service was extremely disappointing. When I went in to set up my own storage unit, the two women at the front desk were dismissive and carried themselves with an unnecessarily sassy, unprofessional attitude. Rather than listening to my situation, they shut me down immediately.

Here’s the issue: my ex already has a unit at this facility. Because of that, they canceled my request for my own unit — solely because we shared the same address at the time. The irony is that my ex was the one who suggested I get my own unit in the first place, since we are separating households and need to divide belongings. Instead of understanding that separation is exactly why I needed a separate unit, I was flatly told “no” and given the option to simply keep paying for his unit instead.

To me, this is not only poor customer service but also extremely short-sighted business practice. Storage facilities exist to provide flexibility, especially in situations like moving, separating, or downsizing. Refusing someone their own account because their ex already has one tied to a previous shared address makes no sense. A little common sense and compassion would have gone a long way here.

Overall, I left feeling disrespected, unheard, and inconvenienced. Between the lack of proper parking for customers and the dismissive, unhelpful attitude of the staff, I cannot recommend Sentinels Rental Storage. There are plenty of other facilities that understand customer service and are more than willing to work with people going through major life transitions.

Great service. Everyone at the office is very pleasant. Prince who showed me the facility and the unit. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Shelby is awesome as well. She helped me all throughout the move. From the customer service rep to visiting the facility in-person was smooth and efficient. The surveillance is updated. It’s easy to access to drive-up unit. I rented the unit for 3 months and it was very reasonable. Highly recommend. Thanks team!

Shout out to Shelby at Sentinel Storage!

We needed a storage locker for a short period, and Sentinel made the whole process easy with flexible unit sizes and great promotions. This is our second time using this location, and both experiences have been excellent.

Shelby deserves special recognition—she’s detail-oriented and one of the few people who still genuinely provides service with a smile. Every time we interacted with her, she was friendly and upbeat, which made our day a little brighter.

The absolute worst customer service. They will gladly take your money and then tell you that you need a major credit card when you go there and then they won't refund your money for 6 - 10 days and tell you that's how everyone does it. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not rent from these people as they don't care about anything but your money.

Sentinel Storage in central Calgary is clean and well-maintained with friendly and helpful staff. However, there’s no designated parking inside to unload your items, and the location is a bit out of the way, which can feel unsafe at night. The unheated boxes are very low temperature inside in the winter bear in mind. Overall, decent storage option if you don’t mind the inconvenience.

Great service! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about there facility. There is no hidden expectations. They are easy to understand over the phone. They patrol the grounds and call you if they find a problem. I would recommend!
