For 2 years I have had a storage unit here. Neil's and Tom are great guys, and were both very accommodating and I've had no problems with renting from them. These guys are both professional and very easy to talk with if any problems arise, like helping to find a smaller unit as my storage needs changed. I'd definitely recommend The Self Storage Place for all your storage needs. 10/10

I have storage units in eight cities across Canada for my company and I can confidently say the team at this Victoria self storage facility offers some of the best customer service I have ever received. They are genuinely kind, very helpful, and have consistently gone above and beyond for me.

I had a situation that made it difficult for me to be in the city for some time. They helped me move my small locker into a bigger new locker, built shelves for me, and even transferred all of my belongings for me while I was away. That level of support is rare, especially in the storage industry, and I am incredibly grateful for how easy they made the entire process.

It is worth noting that some of their older reviews reflect a previous ownership team. The new owners/management have clearly made a major improvement in service quality. Their prices are the best in town! I have not had any rent increases since I moved in, which is another huge plus. Big franchise names will without fail increase rent much more than independent places like this.

While the facility itself is not the fanciest in town, the customer service truly sets it apart. If you are looking for helpful, reliable, and tenant-focused storage in Victoria, I definitely recommend giving them a chance. They have earned my trust and my five stars.

Best prices ive found, staff is super accomidating and renting the unit was quick and painless. He was very transparent about cost, unlike my last storage company experience. See bluebird storage for that one star review.

This has been my Corporate address for the last 28 years. I have never had an issue with them. Up until two years they always had a large dish of candies on the desk, I was a nice touch. The Owner and his staff have always been friendly and courteous to me.

The gaffer is terribly rude, yell out to traveler.

Deposits are not returned, even if you have a receipt.
(To those who cannot go because they are far away)

To not ruin your trip, don't go.

Low rates, friendly staff. Units sized nicely. Great hours. What's to say? These guys work very hard to make sure you feel welcome. There are only 2 of them and they're open all day, 6 days a week. A great option for those on a budget. Thanks, guys! :)

Been going back and forth between work and travel to this location. So far so good. I can tell our locker was built very fast and cheap, which is probably why it's so cheap to rent there. Makes us worry about having anything leaning on the walls. Not the cleanest place, but it's easy enough to access and for $70 a month for the locker we have (a fairly large walk-in) and a mailbox works.
