Excellent customer service. Had an issue getting into the building and the owner answered my phone call and was on site in 10 minutes. This was after hours on a Saturday.

Have been renting for 3 years and never had a security issue or concern.

Very sketchy. Very poor customer service. The son has take over and he yells and screams and threatens you if you visit your unit longer than 20 minutes, it's a 24 hr access... ?
2 weeks into renting my unit and he showed up at the site and accused me of living in my unit, which was not the case at all! It was all outdoor items/ bicycles and their parts and I told him I could show him if he wanted, he refused. 2 days after that he called accusing me of; "A man sleeping in a tent there (I'm clearly a woman) a hole being cut in the fence, which there wasn't necessarily a "hole" cut but the entire fence around the perimeter is half torn down and about to fall over. In fact, I opened the gate one day and it did fall over. Lastly, accused of stealing quite a few power washers, from where, I'm not sure but I was only renting a 10'×7' unit... After all the accusations, he finally told me to have my things out by the following Monday (it was Friday afternoon) and that he would fully refund me. Needless to say, even after I removed my property it was still an argument to get my refund and then only ended up getting half of it back!
Furthermore, there is broken glass and garbage everywhere. The inside and outside is disgusting and the dumpster is always full of previous tenants property. I wouldn't trust to keep anything of value at this place.

After selling my house, I used this storage since 2018 until May 2023 because the price was so cheap. On occasion, I never had any problem within the last five years to access my stuff in storage. As soon as I called them to cancel on my last day of moving out all of my stuff, they immediately took care of it. That said, I'd not hesitate to use their storage service again in nearby future if I need to.

This is the worst self-storage I've ever used. I should have read the review first before choosing this one. And I took a hard lesson on that.

The owner took all my things in the storage I rented and sold them after my credit card expired. He didn't even bother to reach me. You might save a few dollars on the monthly fee, but you could lose all of your stuff.

No customer service. Nobody answers the phone and the voicemail box is full.

1. Terrible customer service. I drove to this place one day to get something from my storage, but the main entrance lock didn't work and nobody could get in. I called the service line and the guy told us to wait for several days before they fix the lock. Unfriendly and unhelpful. I feel that the owner only cares about getting rent. He couldn't care less about the things that you put in your storage.

2. I agree with some other reviews that this place looks sketchy. I saw broken glasses in the parking lot several times.

Rented and paid for a unit on Wright St. In St.Catharine’s in OCT. Place is sketchy. Brought my 10 year old granddaughter and she was afraid to get out of the car. Lots of glass all over the parking lot and old rusted out vehicles. They are in seed containers they have converted. Mine let water in and we had to walk through mud to get there. Was called in Jan. Asking for my payment for January, which I had just paid at the end of December. Then I got broken into. Nothing was taken. It was a wierd customer service experience. They gave me the wrong email address to pay. The guy in Niagara Falls office was always nice. Never saw a soul in St. Catharines. No one ever answered the phone. And the guy who called about payment had no clue when I paid and didn’t. Would not recommend for anything if value.

While the price is good - the lack of customer service/care makes for a poor experience. No one ever answers the phone/or gets back to you when you leave a message. They don't have an email. So they take the cash but then you're on your own it seems. Too bad, again price (but then you get what you pay for)

Great experience overall. I rented a unit for about 18 months. Storage area is heated, clean and a great location right off the QEW. The owners were wonderful, very helpful not to mention their prices were very good. I highly recommend Classic Self Storage!
