I had a serious tax issue with the CRA. At that time this particular entity did not exist. I decided to go with DioGuardi & Co and met Brigitte DioGuardi. They are on the expensive side but with my issue I discovered that her father had been practicing for over 40 years. Lawyers have a client confidentially policy that not even the CRA can crack open. In a sense they provided a shield while I dealt with the CRA, ACCOUNTANTS DO NOT HAVE THIS PRIVILEDGE! I only found that out when dealing with DioGuardi. The CRA can force your accountant to disclose details you may not want to before you work out a deal with the CRA. All I can say is that they are expensive but my file was dealt with by them and the outcome was much preferable should I have gone to an accountant. You should shop around thought with different lawyers to estimate the cost. But I always believe that you get what you pay for.

Always check with the BBB and other business rated websites BEFORE you hire people like this. The owner of this company is misleading stating that he has 26 years of experience, (he does not) he is rude and uses profanity towards his paying clients if you dare disagree with his process, he withholds your financial records and receipts illegally then tells you he does not have them months later despite repeated attempts from the lawyer you have had to hire to deal with him, he does not perform the services paid to perform and it will only be months later that you find out that he has not filed your income taxes, he charges you fees up front including a percentage on monies be BELIEVES he will save you on your income tax returns, then when you are re assessed by revenue canada and they disagree with his returns he refuses to refund you this percentage fee he has charged you.... shall i go on or do you get the picture. Side note: NEVER GIVE YOUR BOOK KEEPER OR ACCOUNTANT YOUR ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS OR RECEIPTS. ALWAYS MAKE COPIES. ONCE THEY ARE GONE THEY ARE GONE.

I have never been treated as unprofessionally from a company as I have at Dialtax, specifically from the head accountant at this firm.
After I asked for certain expenses be included, he decided he needed to take the time to write an email devoted to
a) point out that I was not a trained professional,
b) provide me with links to articles stating "I wrote them personally because most people are just " Pennies wise and Pound foolish"
b) criticize Chinese people for doing everything themselves, and
c) that whether I agreed or not, he had to say that I lost a lot of money by filing previous returns myself.
It was completely unwarranted and unprofessional. That's just one incidence. Stay away from this place - I unfortunately paid upfront. Don't make the same mistake.
