1. all the cash register were closed at 6:55 pm when we arrived for a movie starting at prime time - 7:15 on Tue., Jan. 21, 09. Signs were telling patrons to buy tickets from a concession stand.

2. The concession stand had long line ups and each person was taking long, as they were buying snacks and not just tickets. Two machines for buying tickets had long line ups, too.

3. When we got closer to the counter of the stands, the small printed signs displayed BEHIND the employees became visible that they were not taking any cards, only cash! No debit or credit cards! By then we had been in line for some time. There was no mention about "cash only" on the signs blocking empty cash registers, which directed people to the food counters for tickets. We had to find the cash.

4. Patrons from another room in the same theatre were complaining to an employee checking the tickets at the entrance that their movie had not started when it was supposed to. He was surprised, had to check a schedule on his booth, and hopefully, notified someone. We laughed. Until it happened to us in our room.

5. We were in our theatre till 7:20 (movie start time is 7:15), in a darkened room, with an empty screen in front, until people had to complain and then the movie started. Of course, commercials first. If they had not gone, how long would it have taken for the movie theatre to realize that people were sitting in front of empty screens?

6. When commercials and the movie started, we could see 2 slides of the movie at the same time, with a black horizontal line in between - someone's shoulders were "resting" on someone else's head, etc. I guess someone again had to go and complain, as it got eventually fixed.

7. When we were leaving the theatre, we noticed another lovely note on an empty cash register - intended for the poor people who were coming in to see something in Theatre One - apparently, there was a strong garbage smell that the management was warning the paying clients about, as that theatre was located next to the garbage room! Was it another joke?
Did the theatre management think that this was all on April 1? What a disgrace! I pity a fool that would want to come and pay for the evening like we had last night. The movie was good though, but not at that theatre!
