I've been using Mr. Adelstein for the past 7 years. He is extremely thorough and very reliable. As stated above, if you're looking for someone who will attempt to stretch the rules to include every possible dollar of deduction, look elsewhere. I'm not interested in this - I would much rather have CRA receive a professionally prepared return under the imprimatur of a certified professional.

I've been with Mr. Adelstein for about 8 years and I can recommend him without hesitation. He is very thorough. When meeting him, you quickly get the impression that he's someone who takes what he does seriously and will give you sound advice. If you're looking for someone who is going to tell you it's okay to try to claim every half-baked deduction you can think of, look elsewhere. As mentioned above, you can do your own taxes, but I'd rather have the peace of mind, knowing that CRA is getting a professionally presented package.

Mr Adelstein did our tax return last year. My husband is self-employed, I am an employee. We found him very thorough in his work, very knowledgeable - he brought things to our attention that we would have never thought about (and I am a financial advisor), and he is very organized. Could I have done my taxes myself? Yes. But he saved us way more mmoney on taxes then the fees we paid to him. And he taught me very valuable things.
We had a great experience and we would recommend him.
