We had to have a modulite installed in our new Van to bypass the computer as to not fry the new Van. We went to Hitch Factory since they did our last van and we had no issues. I was told we had to many lights on the trailer and we would need a larger modulite. That never happened, they intalled 2 moulites instead.

When we first hooked up the trailer to the new wiring one side was bighter then the other, not much but enough to notice. Our first trip out was OK, no issues. When we hooked up for the second trip out the wiring did not work. We only got power steady on, on the left side of the trailer. Took it to hitch factory, they tested and stated it was not working correctly and they did not have one to replace the one that was installed. Since we were all packed up and ready to go camping we found another guy that would fix the next morning for us ASAP. Now this guy I would recommend.

Anyways bottom line is we took it to another place, they ripped the old stuff out and placed a new modulite in the van and we are now good to go on one modulite and no issues so far. Do not go to these people, I just got one excuse after another as to why they could not refund me my money, the last was, since the other guy snipped off the leads on the modulite they could not return it. I ask ab out the second unit and why no refund on that, then they got into the leads again, we they snipped off since it was not a full install.

DO NOT GOTO HITCH FACTORY, THEY WILL NOT DO IT RIGHT AND THEN BLAME THE CONSUMER.
