I HAVE RENTED A 26 FOOT TRUCK , FORM U-HAUL TO MOVE FROM SAINT JOHN NB TO HAMILTON ONTARIO. AND A CAR CADDY. I WASN,T OUT OF SAINT JOHN . 25 MILES AND ALMOST LOST THE TRUCK , LOADED WITH ALL MY FURNITURE AND CAR , WHICH I WAS TOWING ON THERE CAR CADDY. DUE TO BAD TIRES ON THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK. , AND HITTING A WATER PUDDLE ON A TURN . AND IF IT HAD OF NOT BEEN FOR MY EXPERIENCE . IN DRIVIND. I WOULD HAVE LOST EVERYTHING. . WHEN I REACHED FREDERICTION. I HAD TO SIT OVER 6 HOURS. FIGHTING FOR THEM TO GET A TIRE CO. TO COME AND REPLACE THE TIRES. .ALONG WITH THAT. I HAD TO STOP AT A GENERAL STORE AND USE TWO TUBES OF CHUACKING , TO GO AROUND THE WINDSHIELD . OR GET DROUNDED. ( NEVER AGAIN FROM HAUL. ) SIGNED .RALPH SMITH.

Very poor service. My truck rental was canceled less than 24 hours of the time I was to pick it up, and the lady I talked to would not take any responsibility or even apologize for the inconvenience. The woman had a horrible attitude, and didn't care about her customer. I can understand that there are mix-up sometimes, however a little remorse and sincerity would've been nice. I've been now calling, scrambling trying to find a truck because my family and do not have a place to go, and because of U-HAUL we will have to pay for a few days extra for our storage, hotel expenses, etc... And the rep. I was talking to on the phone just made it all worse.

U-haul said I could have a truck for 24 hours,brought the truck back 12 hours later and U-haul charged me extra 517.00 dollers in late fee"s.A tenant is renting a truck from them,and we are going to plaster alot of signs on the truck about this,should be fun.I am a maintenance worker for apt. buildings in halifax and have signs up in the buildings about my story.Everyone that had a problem with U-haul should go and tell there story on facebook.There is lots to read.10 lovette Lake where I rented the truck,what a joke.
