This place is a nightmare.
We rented a 15 foot to move a friend. I have never seen a worse maintained rental vehicle in my life. In no particular order:
1) The cab smelt like a hobbo's taint and was covered in cigarette butts, ash, and dirt.
2) The steering wheel was covered in some kind of sticky slime that wouldn't come off even after scrubbing.
3) The cabin light turned on spontaneously once we were well out on the highway, and wouldn't turn off after that.
4) The right review mirror was completely smashed, and the shards were held in place with plastic wrap.
5) The windshield fluid was empty.
6) The battery died when we stopped for gas, and we ended up having to wait nearly 2 hours for an in-network contractor to come out and boost us.
7) The papers said that we were getting half a tank of gas at pick-up, but it was virtually empty.
8) The staff didn't show up until an hour after the listed opening time.
Even if you have to use a donkey and cart, do NOT rent from this place.

Really impressed with the kind, knowledgeable and speedy service by Herman at the Park St location in Regina. He was respectfully managing walk-ins, drop offs and incoming phone calls. Definitely recommend, well done Herman!

The only issue i really had was with the trailer, the front side markers which are on the front corners of the trailer(orange lights) didnt work at all during the trip i took but all other lights were functional and worked as they should but over all very good trailers and great prices by far for renting trailers! I even went and gave the trailer a bath inside and out before returning it so it was clean and tidy for the next guy!

Wish there was an option for zero stars. Absolute worst customer service ever. I booked a trail well in advance to make sure that they will have one ready for me kn the day I needed it. They called me the day before pick up informing me that they do not have one in stock in Regina, ams they cannot get me one from another branch. They could also not provide me with an alternative. They agent was not very friendly and helpful. Juat kept saying they can't help me.

Service was fine, fast and reasonable price. However the vehicle interior was absolutely filthy. The gas guage didn't work and the vehicle was out of gas after 4 km. Get it together UHaul.

Had a great experience at this location. The manager was very helpful and prompt. One of the service providers- Britain was very helpful and easy to work with. No hassle, explained everything in detail and even helped me at the end when I forgot something in the truck. Thank you guys!

Im a bad person for not being able to remember his name but it was 10am on Feb 28th, 2026 and he was dealing with Roy Winters regarding a reservation for a 6'x12' trailer. Guy deserves a raise he was fantastic and supherb under pressure.

Get your popcorn ready, this will take a bit. Well this location kept up with the record and surpassed how much I dislike U-Haul and also how much they excel at incompetence. I was towing a 6x12 enclosed trailer for a good friend of mine to help her move because I have a truck. Pickup time for the trailer was booked for 11:00. She lived in Regina and was at the location at 10:20 to finalize the rental so we could pretty much just hook up and leave to load when I arrived from 2 hours away, great plan on her behalf! The trailer was pre booked and reserved ahead of time also. Their computer system/network was being really slow and wasn’t till about 11:35 that the transaction was completed at that phase. Great, should be out of there in 5 minutes now right, WRONG! The assigned trailer was directly behind 2 other trailers that needed to be moved in order to hook up to the one we needed and a third needed to be moved to be able to turn and exit their yard. So we waited….and waited and I finally went back inside to light a fire under someone to get them moving because the associate that had came out disappeared too and nothing was being done by staff to get to our trailer. I’ll also add that tue other 2 yard staff that were there when I first arrived at 11:00 were nowhere to be found! Another customer was also waiting for assistance to get hooked up to the trailer he needed with us so he finally had had enough and proceeded to pull its hitch sideways to get it angled where he could hook up and leave, so I helped him get hooked up, then he helped us move the two other trailers by hand to get hooked up to the trailer we needed to take. By this time it was already 12:30. Finally an employee showed up outside an helped with the last of hooking up and we were finally leaving there at 12:45!! The management at this location sucks. Why are trailers and trucks not staged the end of the day prior to leave? If I could give a negative star rating I surely would! This delay resulted in not being ahead of the snowstorm that was hitting the destination of Brandon before we got there too. On a positive note, the location in Brandon where the trailer was returned was quick.

Would give negative stars if possible. Wasn’t given the information when asked upon pick up. Was called and harassed several times by representatives by the name of Kyle during move. Charged me an additional $143 before it let me drop it off. Seems more like an extortion ring than a moving company. I’d recommend a horse and buggy before ever using uhaul again.

U-Haul is a terrible company with terrible customer service. Upon arrival to pick up our booked U-Haul truck. We were informed we could not keep the truck for more than one day because it was the end of the month. Our confirmed reservation was for 3 days. This totally complicated our move. Customer service was rude and refused to acknowledge fault or resolve the issue in professional manner.

I'm disappointed because before leaving I made a photos and asked a girl from personal : is everything ok and do I need pay something extra? ( car was filed with petrol like it should by me). She answered no, everything is good. But later I was charged for extra 40 dollars.

BEWARE!!
I placed an online order for some moving supplies on mid of June 2025. I received the email confirmation to pick my order up. I was able to pick orders partially and left a TV box and TV cover (which was not in stock that time) to pick up on later date. I went to the shop with a rented truck to pick up my left over items that I already paid for. Unfortunately, the cashier was a complete IDIOT and was not able to locate my order due to their old data management system and treated me like I was trying to scam the shop. I never had such bad experience before. Later with providing some proof, U haul apologize and refunded me the money for the not received items. The cashier was extremely rude and unfriendly. Please do not do online pick up order at this location as your order might get lost and you will be charged.

Had a very negative experience with this location. First of all, I was not informed of the right product best suitable for my needs. I ended up renting 2 trucks and using them as storage for the 2 days I had to wait to move into my new home. Secondly, I got one of the trucks with an empty gas tank, I was informed by Uhaul staff that I put gas in, I would be refunded. I bought gas of $36, drove the truck for only 11 miles (17.7 km), was refunded only $8.14. If this is not cheating, I don't know what else to call it. I will find it very hard to do business with Uhaul again, unless in exceptional circumstances where my other options are not feasible. And in that situation, I will make sure to never buy gas into the truck with the same level of gas it had prior to renting it out.

I had the most amazing experience with U-Haul on Park Street in Reigina. A couple days before the reservation I was informed my truck wasn’t available at the Park Street location. Melanie M, General Manager, did everything necessary to make it right. Randy S had my truck all ready to go, even warmed it up for me! Drop off in Weyburn was so effortless, she was quick with the return, and very kind! Thank you for your amazing customer service, and for going above and beyond !

Requested pickup in Mississauga. They let me know the day before I would need to pick up my truck at a location 2.5 hours away. Also they let me know car trailer I reserved was at a separate location and that the moving supplies I requested were not available. They purposely do this as it leaves the customer with zero options as they have already made arrangements with movers, etc. absolutely shady.

I stopped in to U-Haul because I needed an odd sized box to return a ukulele. They were extremely helpful in finding me a good size box at a decent price. I also purchased some other boxes. A very helpful lady carried them out to my truck for me as I’m ambulatory challenged (walker assisted). The service was exemplary!

Don't do reservations if the day before you're going to tell me that there are no trucks available, make me drive to the location which is 64 Km away, then charge me for going over the kilometers when the original trip would've been under 85 Km but the change in reservation made it over 120 Km. When my reservation was changed my time was also changed as well, I originally wanted 11:00 Am pick-up but it was changed to 3:00 Pm. Then to make matters even worse I gave my credit card information over the phone to a regional manager for the Regina branches who then never uploaded it causing the family, I luckily had available for the pick-up in a different city, to pay instead of myself. When I had called the Moose Jaw branch to see if there were any trucks for rent on the day I had originally told I was then given a "one-time" offer for a truck to be picked up at 7:00 Pm and dropped off the next day by 9:00 Am, for the day before my original reservation. The lack of professionalism was only corrected by the woman I spoke with at the Regina branch over the phone because she was able to understand how frustrating the situation was and put me into contact with the Regina manager, who did give me a discounted price because of the slew of phone calls I needed to make. The price with the extra Km charge was the same as the regular price, if not more, for the truck. If you or anyone you know are planning on using U-Haul for moving I do not recommend it. I paid the same amount if not more than I would've if I borrowed a friends vehicle and paid gas money.

Dummy proof equipment at a reasonable price. The Auto Transport is easy to use. The Manager at the Regina branch is very helpful and explains things well to her customers. Thanks for the great service.

If only the woman who is apparently manager, hadn’t been present, I would have had a five star experience. Unfortunately some people like her are so miserable with their lives that they must spread that to others through unprofesionalism. Barking at customers, blame shifting, treating staff members like they’re stupid, in front of customers, interrupting, and finding every possible way to be rude. If you hate your job that much than leave. U haul should be aware of this cancer they have running shop over there. If thats how you want to do business it might work for a while since so many people around here are used to being bullied and treated like garbage but it will never thrive like busineses that value staff and clientelle and I will bet any customer who has the misfortune of dealing with this person at your establishment will not return to the location. Its called passive avoidance - it translates to: I go buy a trailer and You lose money.

No problems at all for me. Rented a panel van a few times now, I would have preferred a pick up but none were available. Vans were nice, much better than similar vans I owned in the past. Vans had cargo barrier, tie down loops, floor mats and reversing camera.

Truck was ready on time, all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - pickup was a breeze. Would highly recommend. Entire U-Haul experience was great, from the folks on the phone to the in-store people.

Truly have had one of the most difficult experiences I have had as a customer (still ongoing), resulting in the first time I have ever given a 1-star rating.
I have had a terrible time trying to get a hitch installed on my vehicle. Twice my install appointments have been cancelled because they haven’t booked their install staff to work on the day of my apt. The first time I only found out because I called ahead of time to double check, 1 hour before. The second time I showed up and was stood up as the same thing happened with no staff to do the install.
Overall, I understand mistakes happen but his has been a lot of them and my experience of the communication, organization and customer care has been very poor throughout. I would recommend going with an alternative option if at all possible.
