Dr. Hans was very good to my minpin when she developed patala luxation. He quoted me a price that was 1/3 of any other vet. My dog was well looked after and the after care was excellent. My dog goes right to the examining room when we go in the door, on her own. I tell all my dog owner friends about my great experience with Dr. Hans. My dog has since had her other knee operated on. And yes Dr. Hans was the surgeon again. After 2 years I swear, you would never know she had surgery as she runs and jumps like all minpins. Thank-you to all the staff as well for making me feel secure enough to leave my puppy with you

I recently just had my puppy spayed here.
Yes their prices are cheap, but so too was their attention to not cause undue suffering.
The front desk staff were nice and quick to correct mistakes in the recap of how I should monitor her at home.
The shock came right when she got home and laid down.
I saw that two of her claws, on one leg, were cut brutally short and there was dried brown blood on the other leg that should have been cleaned.
Had she been difficult to the staff patience should have been given rather than rushing the job and injuring my puppy.
I'm now worried about the care given to the rest of her operation...
I will not return and will certainly advise others not to go either.

Long story short. I do not recommend this clinic. The reception staff and vet assistants are great but Dr. Hans is incompetent and dishonest.
After the death of my cat, it took over a week to obtain the records from them and one page had been obviously altered.
The section he altered was on the page where he diagnosed my cat with diabetes. The altered section was squeezed in at the bottom of the page and written in a different ink colour. It was an obvious addition in which he claimed to have explained the signs of insulin overdose to myself, which he never did and this is what caused my cat's death.
If that's not dishonest I don't know what is. Never take your pet here.

Already expensive and they are increasing prices every month. Claim to be low cost but the final bills are far more than other very good veterinary facilities in and around Burnaby,

From reception to appointment to paying your bill, ALWAYS a pleasure. Cheap rates, AMAZING staff (Kirsten is VERY skilled and knowledgable about EVERYTHING! Probably runs the Hospital too!) Highly recommended. I trust my pets to them completely.

Well trained staff. Gives all the options from minimum to maximum interventions. Prices are reasonable. They do not pad the bill with unnecessary costs. They will refer if they feel some other vet is more experienced with your pets condition.
