I wish I could put zero stars. Awful vet, please do your research and forgo this place. I've had two horrific experiences here with the last one being my last straw and getting the BBB involved. They 'accidentally' gave my dog the wrong medication that was suppressing his immune system. I went to another vet in Orleans and they said they would contact Chapel Hill to understand the reasoning for this. They never heard back, I never went back and I have no idea how this clinic is still operating.

went in because my dog was vomiting and though it was just a bug. Right away she says my dog is way under weight witch he is lean but not under weight. tells me I should do blood test and deworm my dog then I tell her I am here for his vomiting, she tells me ok gastro food for a few days and antibiotic . I get to the cash the guy brings me a big bag of that food and I ask do you have a small one so right there they want you to buy the big bags. then he tells me my bill is 195$ I was like for what??? he says the deworm pills and antibiotic I said I don't want the deworm my dog does not have warms then my bill went down to 99$ much better . I go into my car and the guy comes out to my car to tell me HE GAVE ME THE WRONG PILLS.....
so I was going home with the deworm pills that you give two pills only every two weeks and I would of overdose my dog because he had put the wrong pills in the bottle...I will never never never go back there...as a CLINIC even if its busy you need to FOCUS......

A very long story short about CHAPEL HILL VET CLINIC on ORLEANS Blvd.
I took my cat there a couple days ago.
1. They tried for 3 days just to get a urine sample and never was able to.
2. I found out on the 3rd day that the day before when we left him there to try some more to get the sample that he was left in his small carrier from 8:30 am until we stopped by at 4pm to check on him since we had not been called all day. He should not have been kept in this carrier that long as he can't even stand up in it.
3. On the 3rd day when they were still unable to feel his bladder we were told 2 different stories about why they couldn't get the sample the day before. First excuse was that his bladder was not full enough, second was that he was was too upset from being left in his carrier ALL day.
I will never know which one is true but basically either they are stupid and can't feel a bladder on a very physically fit cat or they are just cruel to animals by leaving them in a carrier for 7 hours. OR BOTH!
The second we got him home he had a huge pee so obviously he had a full bladder.

Outcome:
We went directly to alta vista emergency hospital where they were able to get a sample within minutes. Very helpful staff and he is now on the meds he needs and ready to recover.

Fantastic, kind and caring people. My animals have seen Dr. Rozon since before he opened his own clinic and I have never been less than totally happy with his care. He is always thorough and efficient yet kind. If you prefer a more sentimental type of vet you have the option of seeing one of his partners who are also very thorough and competent but perhaps have a more personable approach. The staff are amazing and are always doing their best to be efficient and polite to all in all situations. I would highly recommend the entire crew!

I have been going for 8 years for 2 dogs and a cat. I have multiple family members that bring their pets here also. The service is great. Prices are good. They have always been on time. I recommend this to anyone looking for a vet.

They are awesome! My best friend took her dog there for 10 plus years and never had a problem, I've been going for 5 years with nothing but great things to say, my son has been going for 2 years with no problems. It's very easy to write a bad review (or a good one) based on one visit but I think the best reviews are based on more than one visit when they were running late.

I called to book my dog's annual physical and the receptionist told me the cost was 452 plus tax. I Had seen the male veterinarian who I found to be quite grumpy and disinterested so I saw the female vet, Dr. Waterfield time and although she was much more caring and warm, she rushed me out the door fairly quickly. They then charged me $62 plus tax instead of $52 plus tax. $70 for a 7minute appt to tell me that my dog's teeth were in great shape. They also gave me a $700 estimate to get her teeth cleaned (despite daying they looked great?).
Annual physicals are not worth it here.

Thank-you so much for your wonderful care over the past 15 years. Abby was a loving, wonderful little girl and we are missing her something awful. Gracie is also having a hard time of it. Dr. Rozon, Amy and all the staff were so good to us during this awful time.

For many years, our Boston Terrier Po has received first class, friendly care at Chapel Hill Vet Clinic. Not only does Dr. Rozon gently examine and care for Po, he also clearly answers all our questions.

I had an appointment booked for 9:30am and showed up at 9:20am. I did not get in to a room until 10:15am and didn't see the vet until 10:30am an entire hour after my appointment time. When I asked at the front desk while paying if it was always a long wait they told be yes that they get very busy and not once during my visit did they appoligize for being so late. I will not be going back to this vet!

Dr. Rozon and Amy have been looking after our cats for 16 years now; they are wonderfully caring and compassionate. Last night I put down our old and very sick family cat - and left feeling very sure that I had done right by him, mostly because of the kind words from Kent and Amy. Thanks

We had to have our 18 1/2 year old cat put down. this was a difficult and heart-wrenching decision. The staff at Chapel Hill were exceptional. They were kind, considerate and caring. The very difficult time was a little easier with the great staff.

I highly recommend this clinic.
