We have been taking our pets to Bucks for over 20 years, since we had our first Shepard, and now two rescue dogs. I feel sick when I read the two awful reviews. I feel they are uneducated, biased views. We have had nothing less than professional, caring, and standard charged services at Bucks. The treatment always is warranted, and the care is always with compassion. Our biggest dog has had 2 ACL surgeries, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The follow up was better than we as humans get from a Doctor, or hospital services. We live a distance away, and could go to a closer clinic, but we love our Vets, the front desk staff, and the clinic in general. Our dogs are happy to go there and we are glad to take them.
If you get a chance, check it out for yourself, for a positive experience.

Our family has been going to Buck Animal for over 25 years. Excellent staff who are caring and professional. Excellent vets who care ffor your animal and treat them like they are their own! Highly recommended!

I have been taking pets to bucks since I had my first dog as a kid. I find the staff caring and sweet. The new building is big and doesn't feel cold. The veterinarians are helpful, and I have never had a bad experience. I don't feel like they're trying to sell me things when I go, just looking out for the best interest of my dogs. I would highly recommend them.

Our pup got into something he should not have. They were so caring, compassionate and wonderful in helping us get our pup better. I would recommend Buck's to anyone. The level of care was amazing. Keep up the fantastic care.

We have been taking our cats to Buck for 20 years and have always been very happy and satisfied with them. Welcoming and friendly, reasonably priced and very professional.

Personally I was very pleased with Buck. They're very friendly, not overpriced and genuinely care for the animals. I will always take my pets there.

I found out to late, what kind of horrid treatment is available at Buck Animal Hospital!
I was so very disappointed with the absolute lack of knowledge and care being provided by these group of vets (if they can even be called that).
I found the other reviews here on this site, unfortunately only after already bringing our animals here.
The lack of professionalism is absolutely mind boggling!
Do your research before taking your pet to any vet. As well think twice about the care you think your pet is receiving before you take it back if you are already a client...
I was dumb enough to have mistakes made on more then one pet in my household before I caught on to what was really going on at that place.
I am angry yes, but I write this as a person who has never written a bad review about anyplace before. I am a typically forgiving, easygoing person. However this appalling place has to be spoken about.
I sincerely urge you all who read this, 1. Don't take your pet here, you will find better care elsewhere, and 2. If you already bring your pet here, I urge you to really do your research on them, and the actual care they give.
The biggest mistake I ever made was calling Buck Animal Hospital, and for me, that is saying a lot.

I am lost as to why such an unhappy review provides no explanation as to what happened? You don't describe why you had such an awful experience at this place, or why you were compelled to write such a terrible rant. I would like to know what grounds you base your opinion on.

Last year I brought my dog in for a skin condition that I thought was seasonal. They discovered a flea and that my dog is allergic to fleas. We have been to at least (4) other vets for this and never found a cause. No more problems and preventable with medication!
Both my dogs have a new vet now.

Whenever I have the choice of selling my sick cat on Kijiji or taking it to Buck Animal Hospital, I always choose Buck Animal Hospital!
Even when my gerbil is sick, I don't just give up on it and release it into the wild (my backyard) anymore. Buck has a variety of options to choose from when it comes to sick gerbils, like putting the gerbil down, or charging you hundreds of dollars for medication - making you want to put your gerbil down.
Their hospital kind of looks like a house, which puts your pet at ease if you're bringing them there to be put down.

I always feel like my cats are in great hands when I take them to this vet, they always take the time to discuss everything with me to help me make an informed decision. The vets are gentle and kind with my girls, and I appreciate that!

They will call humane society to threaten you if you don't come to their hospital second time if your dog has some minor problems. Also they force you to buy this and that with high charges. They often do the checks and fees before letting you know.
