I have been to many veterinarians, and the Mount Joy doctors and staff have time and again proven their superiority as no one yet has matched their honesty and compassion for animals and their owners. Whenever I bring my pet in for a illness the doctor always insures I know my options, and the benifits and limitations of each option is patiently outlined for me. By doing this I feel they are insuring that i am activlly involved in my animals care. This is much different from other vets i have been to that run expensive tests that i dont understand, didn't authorize, and have very little merit! They are very thorough too, and have diagnosed and treated problems that my previous vet had ignored for years.. my little dog would still be loosing hair if it hadnt been for their recognition of the skin problem. Highly highly reccomend mount joy animal clinic
