Ed is a known and trusted contractor in the area. Most recently he did work for a client/ friend of mine who was selling his house. The client was very impressed and satisfied. Ed was, coincidentally, referred to me by a very successful and busy Burlington realtor. Three of my neighbours used him. So when I saw Neil Lemieux's review up the line on this string, I had to write. Was it so unreasonable for Ed to ask to step inside if it was freezing out? And if I was getting a weird vibe and someone said to me, "Or you could just leave?", I would have done the same thing....and left. Who needs to work with a client like that! I am in the sales business and a little respect goes a long way.

The previous owner of my house had Basement Technologies do the inner waterproofing in 2015. In this July, I had water in my basement. I called Basement Technologies for the inspection. They came to me very promptly and checked my inner weeping tile with a camera. Even though we finally found the water intruding was not related to their job, Randy still took his time to analyze the water intruding cause for me. I was fully impressed by their customer service, and their waterproofing service is transferable to the new home owner!

After experiencing foundational leaks after rain & especially heavy thunderstorms we decided to finally get some quotes & tackle the problem!

We had 3 companies come out & quote us but decided that Basement Technologies offered us the best overall solution for our specific problem.

Not only did they take the time to come out & quote us, they were the most prompt at coming out to quote us & took their time fully explaining our best options & solutions.

They did a top of the line waterproofing inside the basement at a much lower cost than doing the full outside foundation & since we were already doing some landscaping and digging outside, we had them waterproof half the outside foundation too!

Great job Basement Technologies! We can’t thank you enough. Your guys were very pleasant & professional & worked really hard.

Just after finishing our basement, we developed a leak in our back wall. I’m in a middle townhouse, so it was a tricky thing to address.

Basement Technologies offered us a unique solution that address our issues. Additionally, because we had a smaller hob, they were able to squeeze us in snd get it fixed quickly!

We’ve had a couple major storms since they completed their work and everything seems to be going great. In addition to doing an excellent job, quickly, they also preserved as much of our newly finished basement as possible.

I had a prearranged appointment this evening for a foundation repair and waterproof quote . Ed called to ask if we could meet earlier . On arriving home Ed was waiting . I shook his hand and remarked it was good that we had some daylight in which to look at the job outside . He asked if I had measured the inside area of the basement . The repairs are to be outside . I said no . He looked at the front steps and stated " Well the steps will have to be removed ". (See attached photo ) . I pointed out that the steps are part of the slab that makes up the front porch slab , Ed asked if we could go inside because he did not want to stand around outside and freeze . I said "Or you could just leave ." and he replied "OK " turned and left . Would this be a company you would want to do business with ?
