I have been a customer of this company for many years and I have shopped at various locations. However my experience while shopping at this location was not pleasant.
My friend and I were looking at a display table at the entrance to the store. One item was chosen and we were looking for the correct size. The staff member came quickly over and in an unfriendly manner asked if she could help us. Her displeasure that we had disturbed the perfect display was very obvious.
We spent about 10 minutes in the store but we left with a bad impression of the atmosphere and poor customer service.

I love Northern Reflections stores because they carry styles I can wear (I'm in my sixties). They are a little pricey but I usually wait for the sales then it is reasonable. The only problem I find myself having, is when I see the owner/manager there alone, I am a little reluctant to go into the store as I feel a little coldness from her - might not be the right word - but I certainly don't feel that she is very friendly. The other ladies are wonderful - after all the times I have been into that store, they at least sort of acknowledge that they have seen me before. The owner/manager does not - it's like she has never seen me before when I go into that store.
I have never had a dispute of any kind at that store - that is not what I mean. But when I go there - I'm always happy if I don't have to deal with her. I'm sorry, but that is how I feel. I wonder if anyone else feels the same.

I agree with you. My friend and I were recently in the store and were treated very coldly by the manager/owner. We are in our 50's and 60's and love the quality and style of Northern Reflections clothing. We were looking for a size from a display of clothing when we were approached in an unfriendly manner. The woman was visibly upset that we had disturbed her display of clothes. I tried to make light of the matter but with no effect. I will follow up this review with a letter to the head office.
