They got hacked and then didn't let me know a year later... STAY AWAY!!!

I recently received a letter from Dutton Brock notifying me of a cybersecurity incident in which my personal information may have been breeched. I was concerned that this letter was also a scam and decided to call Dutton Brock to find out who provided my information that sits within their systems and to understand the nature of the breech. The person I spoke with was rude and refused to help me understand what had occurred and what of my information they hold. I was directed by this person to call my insurance company who may have provided them my information and 'deal' with them. I informed Dutton Brock that I had been dealing with multiple insurance companies and I could use some help from Dutton to identify which insurance company had provided my information. The person on the line rudely and with very poor customer service informed me they will not help me and to call someone else. We could have arrived at the same answer with much better customer service, manners, and care for someone whos data and identity they may or may not have had stolen.

Although they are very highly regarded in their field from a professional perspective, what is notable about Dutton Brock is their people, who are wonderful. They take their work very seriously, but they don't take themselves too seriously. We have been working with them for 18 years and we still maintain the same wonderful relationships we've had all that time.
